Our house is a good place to disconnect. It's located in a quiet residential area, with a garden and a communal swimming pool.
It has two bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, one with a double bed and the other with 4 bunk beds. It has a spacious bathroom with a very generous shower and a kitchen with all the basic appliances, including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, ceramic hob, etc.
It's on the first floor without a lift and has balconies in the bedrooms and living room. The living room balcony overlooks the garden and pool and has space to sunbathe, have a meal, read or rest. Ofir beach is a 15-minute walk away. The supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and café are less than 5 minutes away on foot.
Possibility of surfing, paddle surfing, kitesurfing, kayaking as there are two water sports schools.
There are restaurants within a 10-minute walk.
Porto, Portugal's second largest city, is 30 minutes away by car, Braga is 25 minutes away and Spain is an hour's drive away. Porto airport is 25 minutes away by car. There is public transport to Porto and Braga, a five-minute walk away. Fão is part of the well-known coastal route to Santiago de Compostela.

Fão is known for its beach, Praia de Ofir. Much of Fão's coastline is protected within the area of the Litoral Norte Natural Park.
The historic centre of Fão dates back to the 16th and 17th centuries.
Its natural wealth is exuberant, thanks to the partnership between the sea and the Cávado river estuary, creating dunes and cliffs, pine forests, heathlands and marshes, which are inhabited by countless animal and plant species. The main economic activities are agriculture and fishing.
Restaurants where you can eat freshly caught fish. Deserted beaches can be found at the mouth of the Cávado River into the Atlantic.
