My three-storey townhouse is right on the Promenade at Portstewart's seafront - as close to the sea (and pubs, restaurants and shops) as you can get without getting wet. The beach and world famous golf courses are a short walk, and there's plenty of public transport for exploring.
You’ll love my place because of the confort and finish. It's light, airy and luxurious with a seaside feel - every room looks out at the Atlantic Ocean. Perfect for couples, families, business travellers or golfers.
Stunning seafront town-house, slap-bang at the heart of Portstewart's promenade. Three floors of sea-views comprise two en-suites, two further bedrooms and a large, modern open-plan living area all over-looking the North Atlantic and Donegal's Inishowen peninsula. There is a spacious family bathroom and a first floor toilet in addition to the en-suites, a utility area and a fifth bedroom/play room that has a sofabed that can be readily converted to create a fifth double room.
Decorated with subtle and muted tones, a mix of modern and traditional furnishings, local art, crafts, woods and fabrics, North occupies the enviable position of being neighbours with perhaps Portstewart's most famous attraction – Morelli's ice-cream parlour. The view from all sea-facing rooms take in Dominican College, Mussenden Temple, Benone Strand and Donegal's Inishowen peninsula.
The recently redeveloped holiday home occupies the top three floors of an original Portstewart townhouse, with a flight of stairs leading from the Promenade entrance up to the first floor reception hall. All floors are either wooden or tiled, including the fantastic bespoke kitchen that has granite worktops, dishwasher, double oven and electric hob. The heating operates on a three-tiered system which allows the apartment to be heated differently on each floor.
It has wifi and It also has USB sockets in the main en-suite bedrooms.
North is bright and airy, but innovative lighting makes sure it stays that way when the sun goes down, such as floor lit stairs and main TV wall. The utility room has a washing machine and tumble drier, with a high chair, travel cot children's toys and games (including games console) for young families and a hair drier can be found in one of the en-suites.
North is a home from home that offers a traditional “hundred-thousand” Irish welcomes. It is named after the Seamus Heaney poem of the same name that describes the thundering Atlantic Ocean. You can share Heaney's experience, lying in bed listening to the thundering Atlantic and watch out the windows at the curving bay. Its only a small walk around the Cliff walk to the long Portstewart Strand. We can't promise sunshine every day but we can promise a day to remember in a most spectacular house on the north coast.
