Ideally situated for exploring one of the most beautiful and unique regions of South Africa, or simply enjoy the beauty and surrounding natural resources with hiking and biking trails or water activities right on the doorstep.

Our house is 120km away from Cape Town with easy access to South Africa’s premier wine industry region of Franschoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl, the stunning Cederberg mountains for rock-climbing and hiking and Langebaan Lagoon, which is home to the best wader birding in the country, and excellent fishing opportunities up and down the coast. It is situated in the well-known South African region where the land comes alive with wildflowers during August and September, and reflects the traditional and unique Cape Coastal building style. The village is 15km from large shopping centers but remote and small enough to still feel like the little fishing village it once was. Abundant walking and biking coastal trails all along the coast and plenty of kitesurfing, canoeing and paddle boarding opportunities makes this a haven for the adventurous.
