Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Our home is extremely peaceful and private thanks to it's large plot at the end of Grove Road, arguably one of the most picturesque roads in Ilkley. The plot is around 1 acre in total and Ilkley town centre is a leisurely 15 minutes stroll. Alternatively you can be on Ilkley Moor in 5 minutes. A perfect spot to explore Ilkley and a good base to discover the Yorkshire Dales.
The house was built in 1985 and is spacious yet cosy. The accommodation offers three large double bedrooms, each with a king size bed. We have a double sided wood burning stove which opens out to both the living room and dining room, giving lots of warmth and character on cooler nights. The dining room is then connected to the newly renovated kitchen, which offers an electric range cooker, induction hob and fridge/freezer. There is a separate utility room with an additional sink and washing machine.
Outside we have large gardens to both the front and rear of the house, with over 50 beautiful mature trees including oak, beech, lime and sycamore. If you're bringing your children, we have a large 12ft trampoline, a set of swings, football nets and even a zip line which spans over 60 meters.
The picturesque town of Ilkley is situated in the Wharfe Valley, at the southern end of the Yorkshire Dales. The former spa town rose to fame in the nineteenth century when thousands visited for the fresh invigorating air and first class hotels. And to this day it is still renowned for its fresh air, moorland and beautiful countryside.
The town is famous for its moor and you'll find fantastic countryside and walks for all abilities on your doorstep. The town is also home to one of the largest cycling clubs in the country.
Ilkley is the ideal place to relax and treat yourself. There are excellent restaurants and independent shops selling everything from gifts to vintage clothes and books. Enjoy afternoon tea at the famous Bettys Cafe and Tea Rooms or enjoy one of the many events which take place throughout the year.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
With a population of about 14,000, Ilkley sits in the southern end of the Yorkshire Dales, surrounded by rolling countryside. It is overlooked by the famous Cow and Calf rocks - a cliff outcrop opposite a giant boulder - that take their names from the cattle that roam the abundant moorland to the south of the town.
Scattered with the remains of prehistoric cairns and carved rocks from the Bronze and Iron Ages, the heather-strewn upland, immortalised in the song On Ilkla Moor Baht 'at, is beloved by out-of-town hikers and local dog walkers alike.
Long popular with tourists paying a visit to God's Own Country, the lure of its reputedly rejuvenating spa waters is said to have brought Charles Darwin to the town in the 1800s. Modern-day visitors are more likely to sample the local independent shops and nightlife, but they can still take a dip in the cold water lido.
Ikley is also rich in history - part of an ancient Roman fort called Olicana can still be seen behind its Elizabethan Manor House - and boasts excellent schools, commuter links with Leeds and Bradford, community spirit and a population with environmental issues at their hearts.
