Situated on a private canal at Bribie Island, which is only 35 minutes from Brisbane (Australia)
Our home is all about healthy lifestyle, entertainment and enjoying the local seawater. Our house is only 12 months old as I write this. It has a pontoon and two Jet skis for boating fun.
We have a 10-metre pool attached to a gas heated spa that fits 10 people. Inside is a dedicated home theatre and also a dedicated pool table room and a butler's pantry. We have also invested in ma king our home a smart home with control 4 system that really provides significant security and outstanding entertainment options.
Bribie Island it a gateway to Moreton Bay, Brisbane city and Queensland's Sunshine coast and its hinterland, all are just over 30 minutes' drive from our island which is connected to the mainland via a bridge.
If you want the best of Southeast Qld lifestyle and access, Bribie Island is a great starting point. Relaxation and enjoyment are our priorities at our house.

We live on a canal estate at Bongaree. It is noticeably quiet and surprisingly cool for a warm climate. You can ride a bike to local shops, walk or drive.
This is mostly a retiree area, but the population swells to three times its size during school holidays as Bribie is a popular seaside destination.
Bribie has a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of free community events and a considerable number of volunteer groups.
Neighbours are friendly and always helpful.
Surfing is 5 mins drive away at Woorim. The seaside walk is a 10 min walk away.
There are secluded beaches with surf all over Bribie and great surf fishing on the national park ocean side.
Brisbane city is a 40 min drive in traffic.
- Buzzy restaurants: A forty-minute drive gets you to Brisbane's Southbank restaurant precinct or to Eat Street or even the wharf restaurants. The best eateries in Qld. Bribie itself has a fantastic surf club and RSL restaurants.
- Cool bars: Sandstone Hotel is an extremely popular destination with 6 bars and frequent public entertainment event including International Entertainers
- Cozy cafés: Plenty along the Bribie Esplanades
- Retail therapy: 3 large Westfield complexes within 30 minutes' drive
- Bit of culture: Brisbane Southbank, the Gabba cricket, Lang Park league and Qld Performing Arts Theatre all within 40-minute drive. So, you have all the entertainment you want but still have the quiet seaside lifestyle
- Walks in the park: Sunshine coast hinterland has many rainforest trails again within a short drive. .
- Spot of exercise: Sea sports, beach walks, laps pool, 2 bikes for island rides.
- Day trip: Brisbane, Sunshine Coast tourist destinations e.g. Big pineapple, Ginger Factory, Super Bee, Montville crafts, Maleny, Aussieworld, Underwater World, Sunshine Coast beaches and esplanades
