Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
We offer a two bedroom apartment right on the waterfront, two minutes from a swimming beach and with beautiful views of the River Derwent. The house is modern and centrally heated. It is secured with locking front and rear gates. It is extremely private and perched on a steep hillside but with flat access from the carport for two cars. There is additional parking at the street frontage.
There is a modern kitchen and bathroom with separate toilet. There is a queen and double bed. There is a separate study. The garden requires no maintenance as there are no lawns to mow.
Downstairs there is a separate fully self contained apartment which is only used by family when they come to visit. It is also available if you need more space, with an additional two bedrooms (queen and double), separate kitchen and bathroom/laundry facilities. It too has wonderful waterfront views and is airy, warm and light.

Although situated on a main road the apartment is located on a lay-by and setback off the road in the leafy suburb of Sandy Bay. The neighbourhood is quiet, the sound of the waves your only companion. There is a reserve adjacent to the house. At the front of the apartment is a public walkway which is accessed through a locked gate. The apartment has a boat shed containing two canoes. The apartment is also located adjacent to five restaurants, self serve mini supermarket, wine and bottle shop, gas station and other services such as hairdresser, pharmacy and beauty parlour. A children's playground is located five minutes walk away. Locals fish from the rocks and swim at the beach. In the morning canoeist paddle past the window and there is a regular flotilla of yachts passing by. We often see a pod of dolphins, an occasional seal and many cormorants passing by. This morning there was a pelican fishing off the foreshore.
It is a twenty-five minute trip to the airport and ten minute car ride to Salamanca Market and the city. Our world famous MONA museum is a 30 minute car trip too.
