"Resi-dence Ambert" gasthouse 4 pers. with (over-ground) swimming pool (Ø 5.55m) .
"Resi-dence Ambert" is an elegant large stone built house laying in the centre of Saint Grat; from the house and the garden there are beautiful views over open countryside.
The house "Resi-dence Ambert" was for centuries a farmhouse, originally two houses, one dating from the 9th and the other the 17th century, later joined together and extended. The property has been beautifully restored, personally by us, with respect for the original authentic details.
Attached to the house you find our gasthouse.
The gasthouse has on the ground floor a spacious and bright living room with open kitchen (30 m2) and a separate toilet.
There is a luxury fully equipped spacious kitchen, there are two bedrooms and a shower-room with toilet.
Several large terraces, a big enclosed garden and a refreshing pool.
There is central heating.
The gasthouse has a bright and cosy living-room (30 m2) with an open kitchen.
This room has a nice sitting and dining area. There is a TV (also with British/French/ Dutch channels), a DVD- and CD-player and wireless internet (WiFi).
You will find books, games, DVD's and a lot of tourist information.
The kitchen area is well equipped with:
2 refrigerators
gas hob
microwave with oven
dishwasher
Senseo coffee maker
adequate cockery and table ware.
Downstairs there is also a separate toilet.
On the first floor there is a landing (with a safe stair gate for the little ones), two bedrooms and a shower-room.
Bedroom1 (12 m2) has a double bed (1.60 x 2.00 m) and a large wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 (8 m2) has 2 single beds (80 x 2.00 m. that also can be made as a double bed) and a smaller wardrobe.
The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are tastefully decorated. Both rooms have a beautiful view on the countryside.
The shower-room has a spacious shower, a double sink, a toilet and air extraction.
The sink cabinet has enough towels, washcloths and bath mats, which you can use.
There is central heating all over the house.
BBQ in the garden.
The French doors in the gasthouse give you access to the court-yard with table and chairs under the 2 gazebo's and in the garden (1000 m2) you can find several places with lounge-chairs in the sun or the shade.
There is also a barbecue, with a large round table where you can have dinner in the shade of the grapes.
Enjoy the big over-ground swimming pool (5.55 m. in diameter), where you can cool down. The pool is save for children.
From the garden you have a beautiful view on the fortified church from the 9th century.
From the house you can make wonderful hiking and cycling tours in the area.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
The gast house is situated in a picturesque village where time has stood still. The large pleasant fenced garden with lots of atmosphere corners in the shade and in the Sun is perfect for staying. There is a special barbecue garden and a swimming pool of 5.55 m diameter open from May till October. The view over the countryside is beautiful. There are also 2 vegetable gardens who can be used. There are 2 ATB bikes available, the surrounding area is hilly, a challenge for lovers. From the gast house are several walking trails, there is a walking map of the environment available, as well as many tourist informations. Within 1 hour's drive you will find the cities of Montauban, Cahors, Figeac, Albi. Toulouse 1.5 hours. There are also within 1/5 hour drive beautiful castles and abbeys to visit. Villefranche de Rouergue is 10 minutes by car, where are lots of supermarkets and restaurants. It has a large regional market every Thursday.
