This is a separate apartment in the wing of our home separated from the main house by a three season porch. . Upstairs is a full bath with large tub and a master bedroom with a king bed and gorgeous views over the hills to the east. Downstairs is a living area with a single XL sleigh bed and pull out single XL trundle with a walkout door for your own private entrance. There is also a brand new natural wood kitchenette with an electric stovetop, large refrigerator /freezer and a small oven. For those chilly days, there is a large new sauna. A new addition is an attached exercise room with weights and a rowing machine. This can easily be converted into an extra sleeping space if needed with a mattress or crib. We also have toys and all else you might need for young children We have a level 2 charger available for electric cars. Our setting is classic Vermont down a private dirt road but within 4 miles of the town. We have fruit, vegetable and flower gardens and are surrounded by protected land with large open hay fields. It is very quiet and peaceful and you can often hear the coyotes howling at night. See our listing of the main house for more pictures of this beautiful setting. Our house is situated in southeastern Vermont just 2 hours from Boston (Logan Airport) and 75 minutes to Hartford (Bradley Airport). There are numerous hiking trails and it is a popular area for, biking, kayaking, swimming, golfing and tennis. Downtown is 4 miles away and has numerous shops, restaurants and a wonderful Saturday farmer's market. Brattleboro area is also home to the Vermont Jazz Center, Yellow Barn Music, Marlboro Music Festival, Next Stage Arts and The Stone Church (great music venue). In the winter, there is lots of cross country skiing and major downhill areas such as Mount Snow, Stratton and Killington are all under an hour's drive. We are in the heart of the most beautiful fall foliage which usually peaks in mid October.
