Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement

We recently finished remodeling our 1955 mid century modern home located in a national historic registered neighborhood. It’s single story with a two car garage. We’ll most likely be using one of our cars so that would allow you to park your car in the garage and avoid clearing snow of it each morning.

We updated everything (kitchen, bathrooms, floors, windows, etc). Efficient heat and air conditioning for warm Utah summers and cold winters. Spa-like bathrooms with heated floors, heated towel rack, bidet toilet, and deep soaker tub.

Our daughter’s room has a brand new full mattress that’s super comfortable. There’s also plenty of toys to keep the kiddos busy. As well as plenty of baby gear so you don’t have to haul that with you.

One of the bedrooms is an office with vintage mid century shelving unit, monitor and comfy office chair. This room includes a high quality queen size pull out sofa with a mattress topper to make it extra comfortable.

Our primary room has a brand new king mattress, air purifier, and a bonus workout/meditation room that leads to a private hot tub. Nothing is more relaxing than getting in the hot tub after a long day of skiing.

The backyard was recently updated with artificial grass, a shade structure, outdoor lighting, and a charcoal grill—making it the perfect area to bbq and hang out on summer nights.

Utah is underrated. It has a ton to offer no matter the time of year you come to visit. You’ll truly experience all four seasons.

Our house is in a central location but it’s greatest asset is being 20-40 minutes from 7+ ski resorts and some of the best snow on earth. If you have an Ikon pass you can ski Solitude, Brighton, Snowbird, Alta, Deer Valley and Snowbasin. If you have an Epic pass you can ski Park City and Canyons Village. There’s also a bunch of ski shops close by that are much cheaper to get rentals from vs renting equipment at the resorts. Ski trips are super pricey when you stay at the resorts so doing a home exchange is going to save you from spending an arm and a leg to stay at a ski resort.

We’re also close to downtown Salt Lake, with a vibrant restaurant scene. If you come in January you can experience the Sundance Film Festival. It runs for two weeks and you might even bump into a celebrity while you’re out. We’re only 30 minutes from downtown Park City, which is a true ski town and has fun shops and restaurants. There’s plenty to do in the winter in addition to skiing. You can go snowshoeing, cross country skiing, skating at a local park or a dedicated sledding area at one of the nearby resorts. There’s also an ice castle about 30 mins away that you can explore, get some cool photos and try out an ice slide.

If you’re here in the summer there’s amazing hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing near by. It’s a great time of year to go paddle boarding (we have one you could borrow) at serval local lakes. It’s also a great place to go fly fishing.

SLC is a great launching point if you’re wanting to visit some National Parks. We’re a couple hours away from serval spectacular National Parks (Zion, Bryce, Arches, Canyonlands, and Capital Reef).

Our neighborhood is quiet, filled with mature trees, and next to several parks.

We’re also a quick 20 min Uber ride from the airport.

We have two daughters(4y & a newborn), so we have plenty of toys, and baby gear you could use. We also have the sweetest 9.5y Australian Shepherd who we would take with us, leave if someone is willing to watch her, or have a dog sitter watch her. So let us know what you prefer. We would also be willing to watch someone else’s pet during our exchange. I put that we don’t allow other dogs, but we would maybe consider making an exception.
