Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
My home is a cosy traditional Victorian cottage, recently renovated & redocorated. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a large double bed & 1 with a single bed with a pull out 2nd single bed that can make it a double bed. The sitting room is set up as a relaxing lounge with sofa & armchair & a dining area with a table & four chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer & washing machine. The bathroom is newly fitted out with a shower over the bath.
There is a small enclosed garden, with a patio & patio furniture. The south facing garden opens out onto a common green. It is a light airy house that is not overlooked at the back unlike most small terrace houses in the UK. The house comfortably sleeps 3 with the potential for a 2nd single to make a 2nd double room.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
The cottage is in the heart of historic Windsor, near the River Thames & only a 10 minute walk into the town centre where you will find shops & restaurants as well as access to the Windsor Great Park. There are 2 railway stations connecting you with London in about an 1 hour. You can see Windsor castle from the front of the house, if you don’t mind the railway bridge between us! Duke Street is a friendly residential street with a mix of neighbours, professionals, young families and older couples. Windsor & Eton Brewery & Tap Room is at the end of the street & the local pub, The Duke of Connaught, is round the corner. Windsor is a great place to be based to explore London & the South of England.
The house is 1km from Windsor Castle & Windsor Great Park and 4km from Legoland. It is 1km from the train station with a direct line to central London. Heathrow airport and Runnymede is a 15 minute drive and the attractions at Thorpe Park are 20 minutes away. The areas of Natural beauty of The Chilton Hills, The Surrey Hills and Burnham Beeches are within 20 minutes. Local towns include the world famous rowing center of Henley, Marlow, Eton and the gastronomic centre of Bray. The university town of Oxford is an hour drive whilst Cambridge would be 90 minutes away. The Roman city of Bath and Cirencester are perhaps a 100 minute drive.
Most importantly for those who like to sample the local atmosphere there are four excellent traditional pubs within 300 yards: David.

Le mot de la fin
This is a traditional Victorian cottage and is therefore small and cosy. The stairs to the first floor bedrooms are curved so be careful not to hit your head on the ceiling. The bathroom is on the ground floor. I lived in the house during my 20s & 30s & loved the town centre location, the easy access to London & to the beautiful countryside around. Parking is on the street & I can provide resident parking vouchers.
