SIX NIGHT MINIMUM
Tahoe is a winter wonderland or warm weather paradise—so much to do here year-round. Our 80-year old home is the quintessential Tahoe cabin: original stone and pine floors, walls, and doors, and lots of thoughtful updating over the years to maintain the rustic feel but provide all the expected amenities. It’s a peaceful retreat, walking distance or a short drive from everything, nestled in the pines, overlooking the Lake and mountains in the distance.
Downstairs master bedroom suite with king bed (2 person) steps out onto a lower deck with a hot tub, which is so nice after skiing or hiking or just before bed. Family room upstairs has remodeled (2021) gourmet kitchen with new appliances, dining table for six (more if you add the leaf), couch with pull-out double bed (2 person), TV, and access to the large upper deck, where you can barbecue, relax, and watch the sun set over the lake and mountains.
Two more bedrooms off the family room share a jack-and-jill bathroom with tub shower. One bedroom has a queen bed (2 person) and lake view; the other is currently set up as an office with an IMac computer and single bed (one person).

Dawn to dusk, whether in the heat of summer or brisk cold of winter, just walking the two streets of our neighborhood and marveling at the lake views and mountain scenery, is a never-ending pleasure. Fortunately, we’re also close to absolutely everything you’ll love about Tahoe.
It’s a fifteen minute walk to Speedboat Beach, Kings Beach, and the Nevada casinos. Ski resorts at Northstar (7.5 miles, 12km), Diamond Peak (7.5 miles, 12km), and Pallisades/Alpine—formerly Squaw Valley (16 miles, 25km), Heavenly and Mt. Rose. Cross country and snowshoeing trails nearby. These resorts have warm weather activities as well, and there is ample hiking and biking right from the house. Rent bikes or water sports gear In town.
