Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Modern and contemporary home built within an old Victorian School (circa 1896). It is superbly located in a traditional fishing village with a beautiful old 15th century harbour (Cellardyke) and there is another harbour (Anstruther) a few minutes walk away, which is now a busy marina with some working fishing boats, some cafes, bars and the best fish and chips on the planet!! The house itself has a spacious interior with high ceilings, large windows and white walls, decorated with art reflecting Scotland and our closeness to the sea. There is a large, well equipped dining kitchen and roof top views of the Firth of Forth from both larger bedrooms. There are two parking spaces and we are 15 minutes drive from St Andrews and 90 minutes away from Edinburgh using a combination of car & train.

The East Neuk of Fife of a stunning coastal area, located to the south of St Andrews. It is rich in history and natural beauty. It is famous for its traditional fishing villages and the fishing industry still plays a major role in the local economy. You can choose to buy the freshest of fish a few hundred metres from the house, directly from folk as they working on the fish. The neighbourhood is very peaceful, you are far more likely to be woken by bird song than by traffic. The small front garden is south facing and so it catches the summer sun from early morning till late afternoon. It is feels like a wee sanctuary to enjoy a morning coffee while you soak in the peaceful ambience. Anstruther is busiest of the East Neuk villages and its shops and bars are a ten minute walk away. The Fife coastal path is 2 minutes from the house. If you feel brave, the coastal swimming pool at Cellardyke is ten minutes walk away - if you go for a dip expect it to be both bracing and life-giving. St Andrews with its history, shops and famous golf course is 15 minutes away by car. On Sundays there is no play on the Old Course, so you can go for a respectful walk on it to take a photo on bridge over the Swilkin burn or find the "Valley of Sin" and stand on the tee of the "Road hole" to ponder one of toughest drives in golf. There is a station at Leven (30mins drive by car) with a regular one hour train service into the centre of Edinburgh.

MASTER BEDROOM - en-suite with four poster, south facing, overlooking the sea.
BEDROOM 2 - super king plus baby crib/cot, south facing, overlooking the sea.
BEDROOM 3 - double bed
BEDROOM 4 - 1 single bed plus baby crib/cot.
FAMILY BATHROOM - wc, wh basin, shower and alcove bath
THIRD FLOOR
Owners retain this small area for storage. However there is a single bed which can be made available by request.
OUTSIDE
Small south facing front garden with bench to catch the morning sun, and decking at the rear which catches evening sun with garden furniture.
There are two parking spaces at the rear.
We occasionally look after trainee guide dogs for the blind. These dogs are always on the ground floor which has hard floors and never on the bedroom floor. But if anyone in your party might be allergic, please check to see if this might be an issue.
