Our home is a wonderful mid century modern style that is a place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We have spectacular views over Middle Harbour and all the way to the city skyline, a swimming pool and fabulous undercover balconies and terraces for alfresco dining. We have 3 large living areas over 3 floors. The main living area and family room open to a private sundrenched terrace and swimming pool. The pool is surrounded by a lush tropical garden. The main bedroom and ensuite is on this floor with lounge/dining area as well as kitchen/family room/laundry and an extra shower and toilet. There are three bedrooms and a bathroom on the second floor and large games room with television, pool table, dart board and soccer table on the first floor. Our home is often referred to by our friends as the "Seaforth Resort". There is reverse cycle air con in family room and main bedroom and overhead fans in living room and bedrooms.

We live in Seaforth looking over Middle Harbour. We are 13 km from the CBD and less than 5 km to Manly beach. The bus at the end of the street is a 10 minute ride to Manly or 30 minutes to the city. Ferries to the city leave from Manly. It is a magnificent 30 minute ferry ride across Sydney Harbour to the city. Our view takes in Middle Harbour, Clontarf and the city. There are many wonderful walks from our front door. Seaforth is a quiet family neighbourhood. It is a 10 minute walk to local shops and Indian/Thai/Mexican restaurants as well as local coffee shops, liquor stores and small supermarket. It is a 15 minute bus ride to the large Westfield shopping centre at Brookvale (Warringah Mall). Regardless of the time of year there is always a sunny spot for a relaxing coffee or glass of wine.

Our home is over three levels with the main bedroom and lounge/dining/kitchen/family room/ laundry on the top floor with direct access to our swimming pool. There is total privacy in our back garden. We have 180 degrees views from our front balcony over Middle Harbour. There is a menagerie of bird life in our trees. Kookaburras, cockatoos, lorikeets to name a few. Our house is available to couples, families with adult children - over 16 only - with a maximum of 5 guests at any time. We cannot accommodate young children. Our house is not suitable for non-swimmers or anyone with reduced mobility due to the number of stairs. We live in a quiet neighbourhood and respect our neighbours. There are to be no parties or large gatherings during your stay.
Our pool will be serviced once every 2 weeks, but we ask that you clean the leaves out of the pool regularly. We will organize a fortnightly house cleaner at a cost to the guests of Aus $250 per clean. We would appreciate it if you would water our pot plants regularly. Our home is available to non-smokers only.
The home is approximately 23 kms from Sydney International Airport (average cost is Aus$100 by taxi).
