Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
We are a scent free home. We use free and clear soap on all our linens and don't use any synthetic fragrances, and natural cleaners for those who are sensitive! We also use all natural cotton sheets, you will not find any polyester in our home, so you can be cozy and comfortable. My tiny home has an upper loft with a king bed, along with two bunk beds, sleeping up to 4 people. Note that the king bed requires walking up stairs to access. These are short tiny house stairs and due to height, you may need to hunch as you climb up the stairs. The unit is compact but laid out nicely with efficient use of space. The bottom bunk coverts into a couch for daytime use. The bathroom includes a shower and toilet. We use a biogas toilet, so you cannot flush paper down the toilet. The unit includes a 11.4 cu refrigerator with freezer, and dual propane gas burner for cooking. Need more space? We do offer tents that can be set up to provide extra living/sleeping space or to accommodate more guests. Our tiny house is a 10 minute walk to a beautiful black sand clothing optional beach. We are an 8 mile drive to Isaac Hale (Pohiki) which is the brand-new lava flow from 2019 that created a new black sand beach and various hot spring ponds. We are a one-hour drive to Volcano National park. We do offer sand toys, boogie boards, snorkel gear, lifejackets and beach chairs that can be used at your own risk. Come experience Hawaii local style. There is a $100 fee. We may be able to offer you laundry if we are home during your stay. If you need laundry, please inquire prior to your stay. Lastly, I do want to mention that we have a biogas toilet system with a bidet. The toilet has water in it, and pumps to flush, its critical to note that NO TOLIET PAPER can go down the toilet, it must be placed in a waste basket.

Puna Beach Palisades is a piece of heaven on the red road. The neighborhood is very quiet and within walking distance to famous Kehena beach which is a beautiful black sand clothing optional beach, and Seaview Neighborhood which is known for its drum circles on Sunday's. You can walk across the street from our neighborhood to “the point” which is a grassy cliff ocean shoreline where you can enjoy walks or picnics.

There is a $100 charge to clean the space. No there are not reduced fees for "leaving it in good condition" I expect you leave my space in good condition regardless. The fee does include washing the linens after use, but we do expect that you take out the trash, clean up any food particles, and sweep the floors before checkout. Bugs are a real concern in Hawaii and if you do not remove the trash, or leave food on the floor, there will be bugs within hours. You must remove all food trash daily, as after multiple days the trash will be full of bugs. In order to keep our home bug free, this is mandatory. There is an outside trash bin behind the tiny house to dispose of your food trash daily.
Flights are much cheaper into the Kona airport, which is approx. 2.5-hour drive from our location.
