Spend an unforgettable holiday at our apartment in the centre of the imperial city Bad Ischl. Enjoy the historical atmosphere, but also a modern kitchen, bathroom and comfortable bed. The historical house has been lovingly renovated in 2020. The house is located in the centre of town, you can thus enjoy your vacation by public transport or bike – all year round!
amenities in all of our apartments for two:
- pantry kitchens with fridge, dishwasher, microwave with baking function
- new bathroom with walk-in shower
- two historic beds with modern frames and hotel mattress
- private balcony
- shared bike garage
The images show our 4 apartments for 2 persons each - design and m2 may vary slightly, but each of them is perfect for a trip for two! We have 5 unique apartments, all in the same historic villa (so if you're looking for a larger one please contact us!).
As we're a 4* apartment rental you have the bonus of all necessities you'd encounter in an apartment rental: high-quality linens, towels, high-speed wifi, soap, hairdryer, ironing board, biking garage, etc.
In addition to the apartment, we have a lovely common area, the salon, where you can relax with a nice cup of organic tea or coffee and look through travel guides or a book from our open library.

We cannot do July-August or school holidays (in very very rare cases we have an opening and can accept super last-minute requests 1 day before, but we're usually fully booked).
We cannot host pets due to allergies.

Bad Ischl is known for the summer residence of emperor Franz Joseph and Sisi – but there’s so much more! This Salzkammergut jewel, European Cultural Capital in 2024, offers a variety of activities for all ages and tastes – be it cultural, nature or adventure. The imperial villa and the city center can be explored by foot, further local attractions can easily be reached by public transport, bike or car.
The apartment is located in Bad Ischl’s center, you can also get around by public transport or bike:
- Travel to Hallstatt by train and boat in only 35 min (a lovely view of the lake town as you float towards it and no parking chaos!)
- The bus stop Salzburgerstasse is right in front of the apartment
- The Bad Ischl train station is within 850 m (11 min by foot)
- Parking lots within walking distance: one is free and 5 minutes by foot, others in the city are 3 min walking (parking fee EUR 8/day)
The apartment is located in Bad Ischl’s center, you can also get around by public transport or bike:

ONLY SUPER LAST MINUTE REQUESTS POSSIBLE (except days already marked as available). This means that we won't be able to confirm additional dates until a few days/max. 2 weeks before. We will most likely only be able to host you during the quieter times (during the week when there are no holidays/vacation time).
We can supply a travel crib as well in two of these apartments.
Cleaning fee: EUR 50 per stay - this covers the professional cleaning of the bathroom, floors, and laundry service etc.
It's all at cost, we do not earn money from it. Please still make sure the apartment is tidy before you leave (clean dishes etc.), so the cleaner can start right away.
