We have lots of GP availability at our home between July 7-August 7, 2025.
Light filled and centrally located in the four season paradise of the comox valley on northern Vancouver island: waterfalls, mountains, pastoral rolling farm land, Strathcona provincial park, mount washington ski resort, world class mountain biking the very hip village of Cumberland, beautiful swimmable rivers and ocean beaches… all on our doorstep. We are also walking distance to artsy tin town- the best coffee shop in the valley, a great bakery, and some other hidden gems!
Our home is a beautiful light filled 4 bedroom 2 bathroom duplex unit that backs onto an orchard. The backyard is a sanctuary where you can enjoy hammocks, and an outdoor day bed in the summer as well as a hot tub. We live in the quiet peaceful and artsy 36 unit, 9 acre Creekside cohousing community with many friendly neighbours, a shared garden, folks of all ages and beautiful walking paths. It is set up so the cars are parked on the outside and Neighbours walk into the community- so lots of green space. There is no expectation to join into the community events (informal gatherings in the common green spaces), but the option is there should you wish to get to know people.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
We live in west courtenay, nestled in the heart of the comox valley. We are a 30 minute drive to the top of mt Washington ski resort, and a short 5 minute walk to artsy tin town where you can enjoy the best coffee in the valley at Tin Town Cafe, and some wonderful local food and drink options from independent shop keepers and artisans. Of note are an amazing Korean deli, a homemade pasta shop, moss grey atelier and a few more hidden gems. Our community also connects to walking and bike paths that take you all around town. We are a 5 minute drive, 10 minute bike or pleasant 25 minute walk to downtown courtenay. The beautiful towns of beach filled Comox and hipster Cumberland are on either side of the valley- a 10 minute drive in either direction. The rest of the island is easily explored from here- the ferries to the quaint islands of hornby, Denman, Quadra And cortes are less than an hour away. The Wild West coast including Tofino and Ukulet are three hours west, and world famous hiking in Strathcona Provincial Park or downhill and cross country skiing at mount Washington is on your doorstep.

Box trained and exists in our home much like a cat would. Our neighbour comes to by to feed her but she loves quiet pets and cuddles.
We have a two year old and are both elementary school teachers- you are welcome to use any kids books, games, the train set and anything else you find to play with.
Nick is a retired professional acrobat - we have an Olympic trampoline in the backyard and will fold and lock it up while we are away to keep everyone safe!
