Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
My home is located on the top floor (5th) of my condominium and serviced by an elevator. I am in D building, closest to the street and tennis courts and gym.
This is a private residence resort and all condos are individually owned by Americans, Canadians and nationals. It is not a party property.
Our staff are English speaking, if your Spanish is not up to snuff. (like me)
My seaside home is located beside a beautiful fish pond and only steps to the sandy beach, Cerritos. The beach is perfect for walking, boogie boarding or swimming. We are just down the beach from Playa Bruja where there's surfing. It's very popular for it's restaurant/bar for good food and dancing. Bruja has a strip mall with shops and more restaurants like the Loonie Bean, a great breakfast and coffee spot.
You will enjoy 2 bedrooms (master bedroom has king bed with ensuite, 2nd bedroom has queen bed and tv).
There are 2 bathrooms (showers).
My kitchen is very well equipped with all appliances you will need including a stove with oven.
There are plenty of dishes.
High speed Wifi plus 2 smart TVs, (living room and 2nd bedroom) for your viewing enjoyment. Bring your firestick or use your app programs as there is no local tv.
Laundry facilities are in house. (Washer and dryer)
I'm located beside the gym which is accessible after 10 am and tennis and pickleball courts are just steps away.
We have saunas in the locker area by the tennis court and hot tub at front by main pool.
There are 2 bbqs (propane) on the ground floor by Building D (my building) with picnic tables and chairs beside the little dipping pool.
On-site we have a restaurant (Palapa) for owners and guests only. It is moneyless so if you wish to use it, you put a deposit on your tab at reception, get your account set up with a PIN code. Now you are set to go to order food and beverages while while enjoying the ocean, beach and pool.
(No drinks allowed in pool.)
A large pool, of which part, is heated in winter months. If you get chilled there's a hot tub adjacent to the main pool in the front part of the resort. Our beachfront has palapas, loungers and miles of sandy beach for your walking enjoyment.
I have 2 bikes available for you to use. The street in front of my condo has a bike path and if you are very energetic try the Malecon in front of the ocean, it's 7 km along the oceanfront seawall.
Sorry no pets allowed for guests (HOA rules).
My dog is non-shedding species, for those who have allergy concerns.
NO SMOKING allowed in resort.
Mexico has a no smoking policy.
Cleaning charge is 500 pesos upon departure.

Le mot de la fin
Known as The Pearl of the Pacific, the port city of Mazatlan serves as one of the main destinations for cruise ships and beach resorts in Mexico. It has an extensive artistic Malecón or boardwalk adorned with sculptures, a marina, and a historic center designated as a National Historic Heritage in 2001.
The most attractive feature of Mazatlan is its Malecón or boardwalk of more than 14 kilometers adorned with bronze sculptures, framed by the Pacific Ocean, and an avenue in which there are several shops and hotels. It’s an ideal location for walking, running, biking, or rollerblading and is frequented daily, day and night, by many locals and tourists alike.
Another distinctive architectural landmark of the city of Mazatlan is located on top of Cerro del Creston. This is the Mazatlan lighthouse built in 1821. It was the first port of the high seas in the Mexican Pacific, since then the port has received ships from around the world.
Another exciting attraction that you cannot miss is the daily spectacle of cliff divers of the Florieta Sánchez Taboada on Paseo Claussen.
The Port of Mazatlán offers perfect hotel facilities, restaurants, and entertainment, and is also the anchor of various international cruises.
The exquisite cuisine of Mazatlan is distinguished by the seafood and traditional Sinaloa dishes of ceviche, fish, aguachile, smoked marlin and tuna, a pork dish of chilorio, Sinaloa style grilled chicken, shrimp tamales, and fish machaca are some of the delights that Mazatlan offers visitors. Among the classic drinks are fresh coconut drinks, the sometimes fermented drink of tejuino, soft drink tonicol, as well as the beer Pacifico which is made in Mazatlan.
GETTING THERE
Mazatlan is bordered to the north by the municipality of San Ignacio and the state of Durango, to the south by Rosario and the Pacific Ocean, to the west by Concordia, and to the east by the Pacific Ocean.
The General Rafael Buelna International Airport serves Mazatlan.
By land you can reach the city by taking the highway Carretera Federal No. 15 Cuilicán-Tepic-Guadalajara. Another route is the Carretera Federal No. 40 coming from Durango.
There is also the possibility of arriving by bus.
By sea there is ferry service from La Paz, Baja California.
