Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Cute cheerful renovated bungalow. 2 queen bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 offices, 2 living rooms, standing desk too for WFH. 15-20 minutes north of Downtown Detroit by car. Great big kitchen, fancy appliances, instapot, air fryer, etc. Large smartTV and Sauna in cozy spacious basement movie room.
Minutes from Royal Oak, Hospitals, Hazel Park, Ferndale, Birmingham.
In the warm months we recommend so many lovely parks and beaches (Belle Isle, Metro Beach, Dequindre Cut), day trips (architecture tours, Tunnel of Trees drives for fall colors, Cider Mills, cute fishing towns, historic downtown walking districts), and of course - visits to walk downtown Detroit, and the Riverfront! Most of these can be done in winter as well.
In the winter, we recommend all the World Class Museums of Detroit, including the Detroit Historical Museum, The Wright African American History Museum, the Detroit Institute of Art, the MOCAD modern art gallery, the Henry Ford, the Detroit Science Center (fun for kids, but as adults we also love it!). Plus the Planetarium shows are so charming!
Additionally in winter there is our cozy SAUNA, skiing, snow, ice skating, cross country skiing day trips, sledding and tobogganing, historic tours of local buildings, sports events at the arenas, concerts, and much more.
Having a car is recommend anywhere in Detroit not just at our location, but there is also a bus stop right in front, and Uber and Lyft work well here.
We are usually booked most of the summer months way ahead, but available other times, and currently for 2024 the last two weeks of August and some later dates are available. In 2025, January and February are currently available for your snowy winter family getaway, a long term work from home in our two private offices, or a romantic trip for two to use our gourmet dinner, sauna and movie night setup!
Our movie room is perfect for setting up a sleepover night in front of the sauna, can create a cozy temporary bed nest! :D
Our kitchen is perfect for cooking a meal (or order in, you can get any cuisine delivered in Detroit).
