Lovely 4-bedroom craftsman house on a quiet street with walking access to ocean vistas, parks, historical houses, restaurants, bars, and coffee shops.
Our solar-powered home was built in 2013. A modern chef’s kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops with everything you need to make a delicious meal. The comfortable living room offers a place for conversation. The adjacent family room has a large screen TV and lots of games and puzzles. If you have a full house, you will find a queen-sized pull-out couch in the family room with a full bath close by. The family room can be closed off from the rest of the house for privacy.
A private backyard is yours for sunning, bird-watching, sitting around the chimenea or playing a game of bocce. A full front porch with rocking chairs and swinging bench gives you space to enjoy the Charleston weather. In the back, a screened porch looks over the back yard. A Weber charcoal grill awaits the chef.
The 4 bedrooms are upstairs. The primary suite has a queen bed and full bath, including a soaking tub. Three additional bedrooms – one with a queen bed, one with a double bed, and another with a single twin bed – share a bathroom.
Our home is also a good place to work with several dedicated work-spaces and high speed internet.

Our house is 3 miles to the beach on Sullivan Island, 5 miles to downtown Charleston, and a 25 minute drive to the airport.
We are within easy reach of all that Charleston has to offer – incredible food, a vibrant art scene, historical sites, museums, including the International African American Museum, and the South Carolina Aquarium.
Mount Pleasant is a suburban town in between Charleston and the beaches on Sullivan’s Island and Isle of Palms. Our neighborhood, called the “Old Village,” is the oldest section of Mount Pleasant. There is easy access to bicycle, ebike and kayak rentals as well as multiple grocery stores. There are restaurants and coffee shops within a ½ mile from our house and many other attractions within 1-2 miles including:
-the charming village center, which includes the Pitt Street Pharmacy where neighborhood kids can still buy sandwiches and ice cream after school. Here you will also find the Post House restaurant for fine dining, the Wine Shop OV, a bakery and coffee shop, and an upscale boutique. Surrounding streets show off 19th-century mansions.
-the thriving Shem Creek district where restaurants and bars cluster around both sides of the coastal inlet.
-vistas of surrounding marshes and the Charleston harbor including the Pitt Street pier, beautiful year-round. Just over the Shem Creek bridge, there is a lovely boardwalk park for walking and fishing.
-the playground at Alhambra Hall: a perfect place for children to swing, climb, and run beneath the huge Live Oak trees. Parents will enjoy the view of the harbor.
