Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
My house was under renovation; the first floor is now "brand new"!
--
A beautiful old stone house that was expanded on the first floor to make lots of spacious, bright living space.
The house features 3 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms on the second floor, and one large bedroom under the roof on the 3rd floor. The (old) stairs to the second floor are a bit steep.
On the first floor, you'll find the open-concept kitchen with a small table, a small living room with the TV set, and a large living room with a dining room table and additional seating. You'll be able to open the French doors in this living room that go right into the garden so you can get the sounds and breeze of the outside as you relax inside.
There's a bathroom (shower) and toilets on each floor
There is a garage (useful, it's sometimes hard to find a parking place in the streets...). The house is located in a no-through road which is very quiet.
As you'll see in the photos, I have a beautiful garden that includes a grassy area where you can relax in the shade of the trees and a vegetable garden.
In my house, you'll find plenty of books (some of them in English or German), cds and vinyles.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
I live in the centre of Paramé, which used to be its own town. That means I am a five minute walk from all the stores you need, including multiple bakeries, a butcher, cheese shop, post office, etc. Twice a week, you can buy local produce and food from the indoor market which is also a 5-min walk away. There are also a number of nearby restaurants.
Saint-Malo is a seaside city that sits along a beautiful long beach where you can swim and windsurf. At low tide, the water goes out so far that it makes the beach a perfect area for land surfing. At one end of this incredible beach, you will find the historical city centre, still surrounded by ramparts that give you a view over the surrounding region. The city was a major stronghold during WW2 so the region is incredible to visit for history buffs. (if you're interested, I recommend to read "All the light we cannot see" by Anthony Doerr). Some more smaller beaches a bit further away.
St Malo is a major city of Brittany, a region that has a very strong identity. You could enjoy cultural events, such as traditional music concerts and dances. You can also enjoy hiking trails, leading to stunning viewpoints on the coast such as le cap Fréhel (lighthouse) or la pointe du Grouin...and visit the historical city of Dinan or the charming village of Saint-Suliac on the river Rance....Plenty of books about the area on my shelves.
It's one hour drive from famous Mont St Michel, 2,5 hours from the landing beaches during WW2 in Normandy, and 3h ride on the TGV (high speed train) from Paris.
