Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Cliff House is a hidden gem nestled on the edge of Berry Mountain offering breathtaking panoramic views that capture the essence of the Shoalhaven region’s natural splendour. It accommodates up to 8 adult guests (with an additional bunk bed for two children).
The home is set up for work, with multiple workstations, including an adjustable standing desk and has reliable Starlink internet service included. It is 40min from Wollongong University, but would suit someone eager to withdraw, work and write.
The vast panorama encompasses the meandering Shoalhaven River, the majestic Coolangatta Mountain, the undulating farmlands that embrace the town of Berry, and even stretches as far south as the stunning Jervis Bay.
In the colder months, the inviting fireplace transforms the space into a cozy retreat. In summer there is use of a swimming pool, which is more for cooling off (rather than laps). There is a larger swimming complex nearby in Bomaderry.
Cliff House is a single storey home with saltwater pool and 1.5 acres of grounds. There are four bedrooms. The master bedroom is located privately in one wing of the home and the other three bedrooms are in a separate wing. This means the house can be divided, in case someone needs a quiet and dedicated space for working.

A 10-minute scenic drive from the property will take you to the charming town of Berry, known for its boutique shops, artisanal cafes, restaurants and vibrant community atmosphere.
Kangaroo Valley village is 15min away.
BEACHES:
The beach is 15min away from the house by car.
Jervis Bay is about 30min away and is famous for its white sandy remote beaches. My favourite spot is however Currarong for walks and have some special routes to suggest as well.

I've received some kindly worded requests to use the house for a weekend. Whilst it is a delightful way to spend 3 days the change-over and cleaning costs generally don't make it worthwhile. So my preferred minimum night stay is a guide also for guests.
Cleaning and laundry costs are added to the booking (no more than $200 AUD cost of cleaning for the entire house, plus $50-100 AUD for cleaning sheets/towels). This is what cleaning in the area costs (happy to share final invoices). This allows the cleaner to prepare the house for follow up guests.
Firewood is made available also. Along with an out door gas BBQ that is ready for use. All other energy costs are included.
