This one bedroom part of our guest the Suite has:
Bed/living room 5m x 4m with high ceiling and two large windows with garden view.
It has a standard double bed, a 3 seater sofa, and a comfortable chair.
This main room has its own large screen HD TV with a firestick that has Netflix, and most common streaming services.
WiFi access throughout the suite, and indeed into the near parts of the garden. We are out of town, and don't have fibre, so restricted to 50Mbps, which is fine for most purposes. It has worked for me working from home as a programmer for the past 10 years, while the rest of the family are streaming videos.
In addition to that main room you also have...
A private bathroom with large steam/shower room and heated floor.
3m x 3m dining room with large window
3m x 4m Kitchen with Microwave, small hotplate, and a fridge.
Your own entrance door to the front drive, where you will be able to park your car off road.
Your own door to the back garden where you will have your own seating areas, and also access to parts of the garden shared with us.
Our back garden is secure for containing a dog (or young children), fences or walls over 1.5m high on all boundaries.
Total area of the suite is about 50sq m.
Your private garden area is about 30sq m.
The shared garden is about 160sq m.

Quiet village location, about 10 minutes drive from central Winchester.
Plenty of quiet walks in the area, and lots of opportunities for gentle off road, and country road cycling.
Winchester Cathedral, Winchester Great Hall, The Gurkha Regiment Museum are all within walking distance of any car park in the city centre.
Winchester itself is the Western end of the South Downs National Park.
New Forest National Park is 30 minutes’ drive
Stonehenge is a 45 minutes
Portsmouth Historic Dockyard is 45 minutes
Avebury is an hour
Bath 90 minutes. We have family in Bath, so can provide local knowledge.
The village recreation ground is about 5 minutes walk away, has a good children's playground and is a pleasant place for a gentle walk. We can provide suggestions for more interesting walks if you want them.
The Littleton village pub is about half a mile walk, with pavement all the way. It is called "The Running Horse" and in 2025 it is open 7 days per week, serving food (including breakfast every day). Note there are no street lights in the village, so if you want to visit in the evening, take a torch for the way home (we can lend you one).
Within two miles there are an Aldi, a Waitrose and a Tesco express plus a large Tesco and Sainsbury's within 5 miles.
There is a bus through the village, but it is quite infrequent. Check in advance if you want to use the bus.
Taxis (and Uber) are available, but they do need to be booked in advance.

We are sometimes visited by a small dog (a Jack Russel) who NEVER goes into your part of the home. If you have allergies, or an aversion to dogs, then let us know and we will ensure you don't meet him in the garden.
We have lived in this house for over 25 years, and in the Winchester area for nearly 40 years, so we can easily provide lots of local information.
We are keen off road cyclists, so are very happy to provide suggestions on suitable routes. We know plenty of road cyclists too, so happy to help those who prefer tarmac speeds.
We can provide reasonable access to our washing machine and our clothes line if needed.
We can usually offer space in our main house freezer, if notice is given.
The washing machine and garage needs to be accessed by us through your front entrance hallway. We can avoid using these on a short stay, but on a longer stay we will sometimes need to come through. We have a curtain to separate your kitchen from that entrance hall if you wish.
