Our home was fully renewed last year and is located in the villa / embassy area of former German capital and Beethoven´s birthtown Bonn.
Bad Godesberg city center is only a 5min walk and offers a wide range of coffees, restaurants, bars and shops. It is 3 min away from the subway station and train station, which takes travellers to Bonn city center in 10min or to Cologne main station in 1/2h.
At walking distance you can furthermore reach a fantastic, public outdoor swimming pool in summer. Four times a week you may want to buy fresh vegetables, fruits or bread from the weekly market across the street. Or you may decide to on-board a boat cruise on the Rhine (10min walk) enjoying the famous UNESCO heritage Rhine valley with beautiful sceneries, castles, wine and more. https://www.romantischer-rhein.de/en/
Our sun-flooded, charming mansion with 4m high ceilings was build in 1911 and provides about 320m2 of space across 3 floors. Outside, you will find a small garden with a Trampolin on the street-facing side and a terrace on the South/backside.
On the ground floor you will find
a) a living room (equipped with a home cinema),
b) a dining room with attached charming winter garden
c) a fully equipped kitchen (oven, teriyaki grill, mircowave and even sparkling water from the tub)
d) an office room and a small guest WC.
The second floor holds
a) the Master bedroom with a waterbed and an attached wardrobe closet,
b) the guest room with boxspring bed and attached balcony,
c) an office room with additional bedding and
d) a large bath with rain shower and huge tub. T
The third floor has 3 bedrooms for our boys, an additional bath and a housing room for laundry.
Bonn is the former German capital with about 350.000 habitants and has a vibrant cultural offering with famous museums, eg. https://www.museumsmeilebonn.de theatres

There are also numerous hiking routes eg across wine yards, to the famous "Drachenfels" or to "Petersberg".

During winter-season all sorts of Christmas markets can be found in the city, inviting you to stroll around between the booths or to have a cup of hot grog (Glühwein).

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
Our mansion is located in a calm (cycle) street with beautiful trees and surrounded by charming, heritage houses. Yet, it is at 5min walking distance to the lively city quarter with a range of coffees, restaurants (even two Gourmet, Michelin star restaurants) and shops. Godesberg main train station as also a subway station are at a similar distance. Twice a week (Tue, Sat) you may want to buy fresh vegetables, fruits or bread from the weekly market, also only 5min away. At 10min walking distance you can reach the Rhine to stroll along the boulevard with beautiful views on the Siebengebirge and the Drachenfels.
Our neighbours are extremely friendly and we maintain a great relationship with them. In case of an emergency, they will be able to help you out!

- we have a dog (Labrador) at home in case that you are allergic
- our walls (!) are actually our heating (similar to a ground floor heating), so DO NOT put nails in them (you shouldn't anyway, but just in case)
