Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Our house is perfect for couples or families with kids of all ages. There is a dedicated play area for toddlers, including kids bikes, an outdoor sandbox, slide and other fun toys. Our recently landscaped front and back yards provide plenty of green space for families/kids to hang. We have a cornhole set, propane grill and high quality outdoor furniture to enjoy a backyard barbecue. We have two smart TVs (one in the living room and one in the master bedroom) with WiFi throughout the home. Coffee is important to us so we have multiple ways to make it, including a French press, traditional drip coffee and an espresso machine. We are happy to grab groceries for you at the store prior to your arrival so you can come to a fully stocked house. Although we have a toddler, my wife and I are quite clean and keep our house tidied. A cleaning lady comes once every two weeks and one would come prior to your arrival. Lastly, we will make our bikes available to you. Two bikes are gravel bikes. You are welcome to take them on the vast network of trails in the area or just use them to get around town. One bike has a child’s seat attached to the back and it has a hitch to connect a chariot (which you are also welcome to use). You can tow three kids around with that setup.

We live 10 minutes walking to downtown Carbondale where you will find great restaurants, coffee shops and shopping. We also live less than 60 seconds walking to an incredible park with great outdoor play equipment for toddlers - 12 year olds. We are a 30 minute drive to Aspen and only 20 minutes to Redstone. If you like skiing, mountain biking, hiking, or rafting, our house is centrally located to all the above. We are 15 minutes from Glenwood Springs which is another cool mountain town with world class hot springs. Carbondale is a hidden gem in Colorado and hasn’t been fully discovered just yet. It’s a great place to spend a week with the family.

I work as a City Planner in Aspen and my wife is in the tech industry, with a focus on education. Our son Miles is 2 years old and attends the daycare down the street. We are a laid back family, always in search of an adventure. Anyone with kids knows that it’s not easy to find the time or money to enjoy a vacation these days. Our son Miles has yet to see the ocean or a beach which is why we are interested in traveling to California. If you and your family are into the mountains or want to try something new, we’d love to make an exchange work. Right now there are direct flights from John Wayne Airport and San Francisco to Grand Junction (a city a couple hours from our home) for under $80. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to make something work!
