My home is located a 5-minute local train ride from Shibuya. While close to the city center, it is in a very green and safe area. I was born and raised around Shimokitazawa and have lived in this favorite Shimokitazawa area all my life, except for spending my twenties overseas. This house was designed and built 12 years ago by me, an architect, and a feng shui master. It is a two-story detached house with a living room, dining room, kitchen, and terrace on the second floor, allowing plenty of sunlight and good ventilation. The bedroom is on the first floor, designed for a calm and restful atmosphere. The guest room is a tatami room. I often wake up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning. The area is green, quiet, and has many restaurants, bars, salons, and supermarkets within walking distance. There is a promenade near the house, ideal for morning walks, leading straight to Nakameguro.
