Our family's home is a cosy apartment on the third floor (obs. no elevator) of a historical 150 year old building.
The appartment has a roomy balcony with afternoon and evening sunlight and an open fully equipped kitchen with dining area. The rest of the apartment consists of two living rooms and two bedrooms: one master bedroom (w. king size bed) and one children's bedroom
Our home has wooden floors and furniture in a cosy, light and spacious layout comfortable for both adults and kids.
We also have a shared courtyard with tables and chairs, a small fireplace, green plants and parking for bikes.
Despite its very central location the apartment is not noisy, as the windows have recently been replaced with soundproof versions.
We hope you like our place as much as we do an we look forward to hosting you.

Our apartment is located in the absolute city center of Copenhagen, in the Neighbourhood of Christianshavn, which is its own tiny artificial island connected to other centrals parts by several bridges. The area is home to narrow streets with picturesque buildings from the 16th and 17th century. In Christianshavn you find lots of bakeries, sandwich shops, cafés, restaurants(Michelin, fine dining and casual), bodegas, supermarkeds, kiosks ect
Christianshavns is also home to the Freetown of Christiania, the canals, Vor Frelser church with the famous winding tower with views of the city, restaurant Noma, several minor museums and galleries, lots of green walks along the old embankment, playgrounds and more.
Our apartment is also just 500 m from the city center with: the main shopping streets Strøget and Købmagergade, the parliament Christiansborg, The little mermaid statue, Amalienborg (home of the King and Queen) and Rosenborg (home of the Crown Jewels) castles, the round tower, several parks (kongenshave among others), all major museums(SMK, nationalmuseet, tøjhusmuseet etc.), main churches (vor frue, helligåndskirken, Holmens kirke, Trinitatis kirke ect.), the Tivoli garden amusement park and everything else a city holiday loving heart might desire.
Getting around: From our apartment you can see the city by foot, borrow our bikes or use public transportation if you want to go to any of Copenhagen's neighbourhoods, which can all be reached in less than 15 min.
The Metro railway (closest stop is 150 m away) connects to the airport (CPH 20 min), the beach (Amagerstrandpark 15 min), the Aquarium (den Blå planet), and shopping centers (Frederiksberg, Fields).
