***PLEASE NOTE FOR PEOPLE FROM LESS HUMID/HOT CLIMATES: MAY through SEPTEMBER outdoors in Florida is quite HOT for those who are not used to the Florida summer climate.***
*Please also note: This is an "Old Florida" condo built in the 1970's: there is ONE wall unit air conditioning in the main room. In the hot months, we blow the air conditioning into the bedroom using a floor fan. We also use the ceiling fans in each room during hot months. The bedroom ceiling fan is attached to the light, so please be aware that to turn off the ceiling fan light while still using the fan in the bedroom, one need only pull the light cord on the fan and the fan motion will still continue whilst the light shuts off.) There is no central heat as it rarely gets cold enough (we usually only wear jeans in January, all other months are typically shorts-season for us.) There are extra blankets and an electric fire place, but we have yet to use them as it's not gotten cold enough.
Pets are not allowed at this complex.
Since we live in the countryside for our primary residence, we are not accustomed to city noise, so we use a sound machine in the bedroom for sleeping. It is left there for your convenience. Black out curtains have been placed over all doors and windows to block out all city light as well. There is a wall light for the bathroom that you can plug in if you don't like pitch-black sleeping arrangements. :-)
Lastly, our listed calendar is an approximation, so please feel free to contact us about dates outside our listed availability. The further ahead we are contacted, the more flexible our dates usually are for accommodating guests.
