Le mot de la fin
Relax in this tranquil sanctuary. You will be living in the Currumbin Valley Eco Village with access to all facilities like pool & gym. You will likely come across kangaroos, bandicoots, kookaburras, fruit bats and if you’re lucky a platypus or a koala. This place offers simple sustainable living amidst beautiful gardens, nestled in wider open shared green spaces.
The mouth of Currumbin Creek which runs into the ocean is a must go to for any tourists visiting - colloquially called ‘The Alley’ by locals. It’s crystal blue waters contrast vividly with the gleaming white sand and black breakwater rocks. Offering rockpools for exploring at the headland, as well as some of the best surf for both the experienced and beginner surfers. You can also take a stroll down Currumbin Beach to Elephant Rock and climb to the lookout, before stopping at the surf club below for a seafood lunch overlooking the ocean. During whale watching season Elephant Rock is also a great place to spot all the whales passing by. For extra exercise you can climb the Currumbin Stairs back near the creek’s mouth.
Up the valley a short ten minute drive the other way, will take you to the Springbrook National Park trails and waterfalls, the Cascades, as well as the Currumbin Creek Rockpools. All fabulous spots to swim at in summer, and to bushwalk from if that's your thing.
