Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Nestled in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, my house offers a serene retreat with much natural beauty. Boasting spectacular views that promise breathtaking sunsets, the property is situated in a tranquil neighborhood, ensuring peace and quiet for its inhabitants. From the master bedroom your city night views are amazing. Recently renovated house in 2024 (pictures will be updated when renovation complete), energy efficient - comfortable, with all modern appliances. But our house is all about the views! Our home is a comfortable family home best suited to small families or couples.
We are on a ridgeline in the foothills above Tucson. It has spectacular views, especially at sunrise, sunset, and at night. Big views of the Catalina Mountains and looking down at city. The orientation of the house, the very private backyard, and the views leave you thinking that you are not in a neighborhood. It is SO quiet up here. The back patio with fire pit, ceiling fan, and outdoor patio is perfect for watching sunrises on the Catalina Mountains or sunsets that enchant the sky almost every evening. From the Master Bedroom, you have city lights at night and can watch the sunrise.
Absolutely no smoking of any type in or around our home. Thank you.
We are very close to Sabino Canyon. Its location offers easy access to many hiking spots, the University of Arizona, and the vibrant city of Tucson, making it an ideal spot for academics and professionals. Good local biking and hiking opportunities. Additionally, the convenience of nearby shopping adds to the allure, ensuring that all necessities are within easy reach. This home is not just a place to stay; it's a gateway to experiencing the majestic charm of the desert, making it a perfect choice for those seeking tranquility, convenience, and natural beauty.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
We live in the Catalina Foothills in a small neighborhood in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains above Tucson. There are several hiking trails through the Sonoran Desert in our neighborhood, with several desert washes that add to the hikes available. We have access to 1 heated pools. Less than 1.5 miles from the Chuck Huckleberry Bike Loop - 137 paved miles of bike/walking trails along the rivers and desert washes in Tucson. The neighborhood is quiet with 75% of residents being retirees. Frequently see wildlife from the family room outside our back wall. It's a great place to walk, with very minimal traffic.
We are close to Sabino Canyon National Recreation Area and Saguaro National Park East. There are plenty of established restaurants and patio restaurants nearby. Several large grocery stores are a few miles away with numerous restaurants nearby. Tucson means wide open spaces and plenty of room to unplug, explore, and free yourself. Tucson is a UNESCO City of Gastronomy. Tucson received this distinction from the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), because the food here tells a story that dates back 4,000 years. The city’s culinary heritage is a tapestry of Mexican and Native American traditions.
The beauty of the Sonoran Desert is what first pulls many to Tucson, but they're often surprised at how verdant and diverse a living desert can be as they learn about our ecosystems at Tohono Chul, Tucson Botanical Gardens, and Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Kids get an introduction to this unique environment at Children's Museum Tucson's Sense of Place. Off the beaten path, you can explore the wide-open wonder of the American Southwest up-close and unrestrained, hiking the mountain ranges that circle the Old Pueblo or wandering wilderness preserves and parks, from the cascades of Seven Falls at Sabino Canyon to the majestic cacti of Saguaro National Parks East & West, or from the high-pine and aspen forests of Mt. Lemmon to the cool, otherworldly depths of Colossal Cave Mountain Park or Kartchner Caverns State Park.
Tucson is also home to the University of Arizona (Go Cats!) a world class, Research 1, land grant institute of higher eduction.

Le mot de la fin
We are seeking only reciprocal exchanges because we haven't been able to use our GuestPoints. We are looking for reciprocal exchanges during the fall and during the winter for a home near snow skiing or in the Western Mountain states. We are open to reciprocal exchanges in different countries.
