1. We’re really sorry, but we can’t accept any Guest Point exchanges.
2. We’d love to do short-term, non-simultaneous reciprocal exchanges that are close to us, preferably within driving distance.
3. We’re most interested in long-term (1 or more weeks) non-simultaneous exchanges in Europe, Central America, or Hawaii that would make the cost of airfare worth it.
Now, a bit about our home and village.
Carmel Valley Village is the hidden gem of California’s stunning Central Coast. If I had to describe it in a few words (for those of you who know Andy Griffith’s old TV show), it’s like Mayberry. There’s just one local sheriff, two bars, twenty wineries, and the breathtaking backdrop of the Santa Lucia mountains and the Carmel River. The streets are quiet in the evenings (except maybe on weekends), and the nature and serenity are simply soul-soothing.
Our home is right in the heart of Carmel Valley Village, and all the wineries, gourmet groceries, local coffee shops, and watering holes are just a 5-minute walk from our front door. And you can walk from one side of the village to the other in just 10 minutes. We often go there, park the car in our garage, and never drive it again.
You’re only about a 15-minute drive from the charming town of Carmel-by-the-Sea and its wonderful restaurants and exquisite beach. It’s also just 15 minutes to Point Lobos and 40 minutes to the breathtaking wonders of Big Sur.
Our friends often visit our home on weekends and they all wish they could stay forever.
Our home has recently been remodeled with new bathrooms, beautiful gardens, and modern appliances.
Our calendar might not always be up-to-date, so feel free to send us your preferred dates and we’ll get back to you ASAP!
We’re happy to welcome all inquiries from Home Exchange members that fit our requirements mentioned in the first paragraph.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
