Our home is a 2022 constructed shed house / barndominium on Lake Lida in the heart of Lakes Country in Ottertail County Minnesota. It has the peace and tranquility of the country with the luxury of lake access and proximity to fresh water in all four seasons. It is perfect for remote work as both my spouse and I have dedicated work spaces and fiber connected internet. For warm weather months, kayaks, bikes and grilling amenities have you living that lake life. For colder winter and fall stays, a custom sauna will keep you warm and feeling refreshed. The heated and integrated garage is great for holidays and dinner parties.

We live in the heart of lakes country, surrounded by fresh water lakes and rivers. We live in the country, but not completely isolated from neighbors and 8 minutes from the nearest town. Within 10 minutes is Maplewood State park, a destination for leaf changing times of year, hiking, biking, XC skiing, camping and fishing. We also live 15 minutes from the bustling city of Detroit Lakes, a year round destination for lakes, mountain biking and winter tourism. The nearby city of Pelican Rapids over doubles in population during the summer months and contains a newly constructed section of US Bike HWY 20 that goes for miles through the Otter Trail Scenic Byway. If you like to hunt, the surrounding area is full of public land for waterfowl, pheasants and white tailed deer. Fishing in any season is popular and rewarding as there are 5 lakes within 5 minutes of our home as well as many rivers. There are over 1000 lakes in Ottertail County that all bring their own charm and amenities.

Additional garage door in one of the bedrooms facing the sunsets and harbor of the lake. This is directly connected to outdoor patio and garden. Is currently used as remote work office with a great view.
