Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Welcome to Gatcombe House, our much-loved Victorian Arts & Crafts home that we have the pleasure of calling home. Built in the late 19th century, it’s filled with charm and period details that made us fall in love with it. The house is set back from the road, offering privacy thanks to a beautiful magnolia tree and hedge that frame the front garden.
Inside, we’ve created a warm and welcoming space for our family. The living room is one of our favorite spots, with light streaming in throughout the day and the original marble fireplace adding a sense of history. The kitchen, with its French doors opening to the garden, is a bright and happy place, perfect for cooking while the kids play outside.
The house has plenty of space, with five generous bedrooms spread across three floors, each with its own unique character. We particularly love the main bedroom, which overlooks the garden and has its own en suite, making it a perfect retreat at the end of the day. The first floor also has our childrens two bedrooms, our son’s has a dual aspect and bunk beds, our daughters is very large with a double bed. The top floor, has skylights with views over to the Downs, and comprises of a large guest room and an office/bedroom.
Gatcombe House is in a fantastic location, just a short walk from the town centre, the train station, and Petersfield Heath and Lake.
We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do!
