Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Centrally located in vibrant Leederville. Our light-filled classic cottage with modern extension has classic leederville heritage charm meets modern amenities. A private back garden has direct access to the neighbouring park (perfect for kids) it is located in a central yet quiet side road off Oxford St with great shops, cafes, restaurants and a cinema all on your doorstep.
Handy to public transport (only one train stop to the centre of Perth) and a 15 min drive will take you to the beach!
The space
The cottage is a modern comfortable family home, it is well designed with three large bedrooms
- master queen bed, with ensuite and robe;
- second bedroom with queen bed
- third bedroom with 2 singles
-Large family bathroom with shower and bath.
-Separate laundry
-Open plan kitchen/living/dining with cozy fireplace, and large sliding doors opening to back garden
Off-street parking (one car)
Fully air conditioned through-out
Wooden floors and high ceilings feature throughout the house, and the heat is kept at bay with double glazing and there is ducted air conditioning to all the rooms.
The open plan living space has a modern fully equipped kitchen
The living room has a large sofa, TV, dining table with 8 chairs and features a fireplace. There are huge sliding doors that open to an outdoor deck with a gate that leads to the park.
A separate laundry with washing machine leads to an outside shower, great for showering off after a trip to the beach.
Our home is particularly suited to families.

The residence is ideally located between the entertainment hubs of the suburb. At one end of Oxford Street, you have the well-established Leederville entertainment hub With boundless opportunities in cafes and restaurants along with a movie theatre 24-hour IGA, and the train station connecting you to the City (one stop) At the other end Oxford Street is the up-and-coming entertainment hub of Mount Hawthorn with the section of Scarborough Beach Road between Oxford and Flinders Street full of independent restaurants. boutique eateries and cultured dining, as well as another IGA and a Woolworths supermarket.
Sitting just three kilometres from Perth's central business district, Leederville's Oxford Street hub has a buzzy inner-city village vibe. One stop on the train or A seven-minute drive by car from Perth centre, and if you're thinking of taking the cycle path, it's an easy 15-minute ride away along the cycle path.
Some of the icons of Leederville's cafe and bar scene today have been part of local life since the late 19th century, including the Leederville Hotel/ the Garden and the former Post Office building now a Thai Restaurant Cross the street and you can catch a movie at the original 1920s theatre and outdoor picture gardens. In recent years the area's popularity has resulted in an influx of chain restaurants (Grilled burgers, Zambrero…) however there is still a good balance. Check out the Mount Hawthorn end of Oxford Street if you want to avoid these.

City Beach 10kms away (surf) (approx. 15min drive) great beach perfect for watching the sunset into the Indian Ocean. New Restaurants are expensive and I have been generally disappointed. However, the fish and chips from older Clancy’s Fish Bar are good. And you can get take away and sit on the beach or grassed areas.
Trigg Beach 14km (15min drive) (surfs more consistent than city beach) Personal Favorite with great café and restaurant canteen and island market.
If you would like to try surfing, they have a surf school where you can book a lesson. They provide all the gear you will need. https://www.surfingwasurfschool.com.au
Sorrento Beach (19km 20min drive) is sheltered, good for children It has a shark net at one end. Note Net hasn’t been maintained and has holes, but it should stop the 5m great whites.
Fremantle 25km (30min drive)
Tourist hot spot worth a visit however wouldn’t eat at the seafood restaurants on the water's edge they are a tourist trap (all are owned by the same company just branded with different names churning out the same food) if you are looking for something different food try Bread in Common, Little Creatures (pizzas are good) or Gypsy Tapas house.
