The White Room is a studio apartment attached to our house with its own private driveway and entry, off-street parking and sunny courtyard. It is a light, bright modern studio with lovely views of nearby Mt Iron. Perfect for couples, business people or a small family who want to be close to all that Wanaka has to offer, be it skiing, mountain biking, lake activities, golf, hiking, cafe hopping or wine tasting. Take an easy stroll to the Mt Iron walking track (3 minutes) or into Wanaka township and lake (15-20 minutes).
The White Room is inspired by our love of the mountains and snow. We have designed it to be modern and light but also comfortable, warm and cosy. The large studio room with adjoining bathroom is approx 40 square metres. It includes a comfortable queen bed with bedside lamps and extra pillows, a day bed that converts to 2 single beds, plush carpeting and flat-screen TV with Google TV (Netflix, YouTube, TVNZ, and more).
The room includes a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee plunger (tea & coffee included), plates, glassware and cutlery. Note that it is not a full kitchen, ie, no kitchen sink, oven or hotplate so it is not suitable for cooking. Off to the side is a dining table and chairs and a study nook with desk.
The bathroom is modern and clean with tiled walls, walk-in open plan shower, toilet and sink.
The studio is well insulated and double-glazed. The heat pump/air conditioning unit keeps the room warm and cosy in winter and cool in the summer.
Please note that a NZ$70 cleaning fee is required for stays of up to 7 nights and NZ$100 for stay of 8 nights or more.

The studio sits in a quiet, tree-lined family Wanaka neighbourhood with lots of green space around. It's an easy walk to Wanaka township and Lake Wanaka (15-20 mins, 1.8km) and just 3 minutes to the famous Mt Iron walking trail. Our neighbourhood area features two funky craft brewery pub/cafes, a boutique grocery store, several cafes/coffee carts and a butchery - within 750m.
