We are starting to plan our Thanksgiving/Christmas/NYE 2025 holiday. We will open up more dates once we have more solid plans. We are going to Wellington and Sydney, so a reciprocal swap would be ideal. For our home, definitely looking for a long stay, not weekends or just a few days here and there.

Our 3 bed+loft, 2.5 bath, 1-car garage townhome has a great location in the recreation paradise of Mammoth Lakes. South-facing for all-day sun, panoramic views of the Sherwins from the outside and the queen bedroom, and view of the top of Mammoth Mountain from the office loft window. We are a quick drive or bus ride away from the lifts: 8 minute drive to Canyon Lodge, 15 to Main, 5 to Eagle. The ski season generally runs from mid-November to Memorial Day, but we’ve also skied on the Fourth of July!
Our living room, kitchen, dining area, half bath, mudroom, and laundry area/garage are on the ground floor. There is a pull out queen couch in the living room. Upstairs sleeps 6-7 in three bedrooms: one king, one queen, two beds (full, twin trundle) in the kids’ room. The third-story loft (accessed from the queen room) includes two desks with monitors, laser printer, couch, and treadmill. Fast 1 gig internet.
While we have enough beds for 8-9, it's probably the most comfortable for a single family of 4-5.
Avoid circling the lot looking for a spot during busy times, or shoveling off your car to move for the plow endlessly during storms: park in our oversized one-car garage. Garages are worth their (weight? space?) in gold in Mammoth Lakes, land of 400+ inches of snow a year. The garage is also perfect for storing your gear. Two exclusive driveway spaces are available, too.
Keep cozy in the winter with the wood stove. The king and queen bedrooms have wall heaters. Plug-in oil heaters available to supplement when needed.
The complex has a pool (summer only) and hot tub (year round), accessed by key card and a short walk away. The pool common area also has a grill, tables (with umbrellas) and chairs, and lounge chairs during the summer.
We have bikes and camping gear available to use during your stay.

Our house is super centrally located - easy access to popular Old Mammoth Road shops, restaurants, and breweries, the ice rink, Vons and Grocery Outlet, Starbucks and Looney Bean, Town walking/bike paths, the library, and more. Summer or winter, we quite often don’t need to drive, as everything is a quick walk, bike, or bus away.

Since this is our primary home, it's pretty well stocked with everything you should need during your stay. We have spa towels that we'd like you to use if you go to the pool/hot tub.
We may ask for a cleaning fee, or we can work out another arrangement. We just want to avoid coming home to extra cleaning work.
We've lived in Mammoth Lakes for 15 years and are happy to give advice on things to do, especially with kids. Feel free to message me, even if you don't need an exchange!
