Recently renovated apartment in a historic building. It combines old-world charm with features like high ceilings, exposed brick walls, and large windows, along with modern amenities in the kitchen including high-end Miele appliances and bathrooms with marble countertops.
There are 2 bedrooms, both with double beds with new mattresses and ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom also has a smart TV (with Netflix, Prime and Spotify subscriptions).
Open-plan kitchen, lounge room and dining room, as well as additional half bathroom and separate laundry room.
Heating throughout the apartment and air conditioning in the lounge room and master bedroom.
There are 2 bedrooms, both with double beds with new mattresses and ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom also has a smart TV (with Netflix, Prime and Spotify subscriptions).

The apartment is in the heart of Beyoglu surrounded my many of Istanbul's best restaurants, cafes, bars, boutique stores, and antique stops.
Key attractions and transport closeby include:
- 5 minutes walk to Istiklal St, the main shopping strip of Istanbul.
- 5 minutes walk to tram which takes you to Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar and Hodjapasha (Whirling Dervishes), within 10-15 minutes.
- 5-10 minutes walk to 3 beautiful historic hamams (bath houses) - Cukurcuma, Galatasaray and Ağa hamam.
- 10 minutes walk to Istanbul Modern Gallery.
- 15 minutes walk to Galata Tower.
- 25 minutes walk to Dolmabahçe Palace (or alternatively 2 tram stops), Beşiktaş football stadium, and Kabatas Pier if you want to take a ferry along the Bosphorus, to the Asia side, Maidens Tower, or the nearby Princes’ Islands.
- 10 minutes walk to Şişhane metro station.

- A 60 Euro / USD is required for cleaning after your stay if using both bedrooms/bathrooms. If only 1 bedroom/bathroom is used then the cost is 50 Euro / USD.
- Arrival and departure time at the apartment would need to be between 8:30am and 7:30pm. If you would be arriving/departing outside these hours it would need to be discussed and agreed in advance due to organising the collection of the key.
- The apartment is on the first floor. You will need to walk up one flight of stairs.
- As the apartment is in the heart of this lively city, it can get noisy in the lounge room at night, especially over the weekend and in the summer months. Bedrooms are at the back of the apartment away from the street so are generally quieter. But please note you are in the heart of the city (which has it's pro's for convenience and cons for quietness) so if you are a very light sleeper, it might not be the right place for you.
- No smoking inside the apartment (this includes e-cigarettes/vaping and shisha). There is a small balcony off the master bedroom that can be used to smoke outside.
- No pets (sorry, I love them but they are not allowed in the building. There is a doorman at the entrance so you will be stopped if trying to enter with an animal).
- No parties and no additional people staying at the house that are not part of the booking.
- For longer stays (i.e. 4 weeks or more) I can arrange a discounted nightly GP rate.
- Due to the nature of my work, I am deployed quite suddenly to emergencies. When I am not deployed I stay at home at the apartment. Therefore, I unfortunately cannot accommodate requests that are months ahead. I will only be able to give an answer if the apartment will be available from a couple of weeks to about a max of 2 months (at most) ahead of time.
