Our house has all day sun with views over green hills from the enormous deck. It is fully double-glazed, with two heat pumps and a gas fire to keep you extra cozy in winter. There are 4 bedrooms: 1 with a king bed, 1 with a queen sofa bed (this room can also serve as an office, with adjustable standing desk), plus two bedrooms which each have a single bed.
The house has 1.5 bathrooms, ie one full bathroom with a shower, toilet and separate bathtub, plus a second separate toilet. The house has flat access from the road (almost unheard of in Wellington!), with plenty of off-road and on-road parking. The kitchen is well equipped, the lounge has a projector as the tv, and there's a great bbq.
The house is very family-friendly. Our kids are aged 5 and 7 and we can leave their toys, bikes, swing etc available or we can pack them away, whatever you prefer.
Open to potentially providing use of our hybrid station wagon and adult bikes, including an e-cargo bike.

The house is 7 minutes' drive into the Wellington CBD and 15 minutes' drive to the airport. There's lots within very short walking distance: 2 minutes' walk from a regular bus route and small corner store, 1 minute walk from a school playground and sports field, 1 minute walk to tennis courts, and 30 seconds' walk from a community hub/open-to-all trampoline/cafe/restaurant/music venue/bar (which can't be heard from the house, thanks to the double-glazing).
There are beaches and walking tracks 10 minutes' drive away, a large grocery store 5 minutes' drive away, and smaller groceries/Brooklyn village (which has some good eateries) is about 15 minutes' walk/2 minutes' drive. Quiet neighbourhood with no noticeable street noise, lots of lovely native bird life around.

- There's heaps to do in Wellington, a beautiful city with more wildlife, nightlife, cafes, restaurants and culture than one would expect in such a compact capital. Check out https://www.wellingtonnz.com/ and https://www.newzealand.com/nz/wellington/
- There's also heaps to do not far from Wellington, and our place is just 5 minutes' drive to the motorway. We don't have any pets (and none have lived in the house since it was renovated). Dogs are welcome, but unfortunately we're allergic to cats.
