Welcome to our lovingly maintained 1890s fisherman’s home, nestled in the heart of Traverse City’s historic Slabtown neighborhood. Just 1.5 blocks from the sparkling blue waters of West Grand Traverse Bay, our home combines historic character with modern comfort, offering the perfect retreat for your stay.
The Space:
Step into an open-concept main floor where the living room, dining area, kitchen, and cozy back sitting nook seamlessly flow together. Prepare meals in our fully equipped kitchen featuring a four-top gas range, convection oven, full-size refrigerator, and dishwasher. A full bathroom with a shower, washer, and dryer is also conveniently located on this floor.
Upstairs, you'll find three inviting bedrooms: a master bedroom with a queen bed and two smaller bedrooms, each with a single bed. An additional full bathroom with a shower completes the upper floor. For extra sleeping space, head to the basement, where a comfortable pull-out bed accommodates 1–2 guests, and a large flat-screen TV creates the perfect movie night setup.
Outdoor Living:
Relax in our peaceful backyard garden, featuring a stone and cement terrace perfect for al fresco dining during the warmer months. Enjoy the unique experience of collecting fresh eggs from our two backyard chickens each morning—an authentic farm-to-table treat! The backyard also includes a private parking pad for two cars and a shed stocked with bicycles for exploring the charming local streets or nearby bayfront paths.
*Our family dog is a Labradoodle which is hypoallergenic and also low-shedding breed. (She will not be at the house during your visit :-)
