Tucked into the trees on a dead-end street stands this beautiful timber framed home. The house is perched on the edge of a maple and cedar forest in a peaceful, private and quiet location. It is only a 10 minute walk from Rossland's historic main street.

The upper floor features three spacious bedrooms: a spacious master bedroom, and two children’s rooms. In addition, a fourth bedroom is nestled in the walk-out basement. There is one bathroom on each story of the house, including a large clawfoot tub in the master bedroom that looks out at the forest. The main living space features a large wood stove that is used to help heat the home in the winter. Off of the main living space is a covered deck with an outdoor dining table and cozy couches.

There is a carport for parking cars, bikes and any other outdoor gear you may bring with you. There is also a sauna located on the property. We have many indoor and outdoor kids toys. In the summer we have a small vegetable garden which you are welcome to help yourself to.

Rossland, a charming town nestled in the Kootenay region of British Columbia, is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Known for its stunning alpine scenery, it offers year-round adventure.

In the winter, Red Mountain Resort hidden gem that attracts skiers and snowboarders with its deep powder and diverse terrain, boasting some of the best conditions in Canada. Red Mountain is a short 5min drive from our house. There are also excellent cross-country skiing facilities 5min from our home at Black Jack Ski Club. Within 20min, there are ample ski touring options throughout the Rossland Range. Finally, there happens to be a fun tobogganing hill directly behind our home.

In the warmer months, the surrounding mountains transform into a world-class mountain biking destination, with an extensive network of trails that cater to all levels, from beginner to expert. You can ride to the trails directly from our house, or choose to shuttle farther up the mountain. Rossland’s vibrant community and stunning landscapes make it a top spot for both relaxation and adventure.

The Pinewood neighbourhood, nestled on the outskirts of town, offers a serene, forested escape with a mix of modern homes and rustic cabins, while being only a 10min walk from downtown Rossland. Our historic main street features cozy coffee shops, small eateries, a brewery, a grocery store, a yoga studio, a gym, and numerous shops. Local venues regularly feature live music and community events.

Rossland is also an excellent jumping off point to explore the beautiful West Kootenays. The picturesque town of Nelson is 1h drive away. Nelson is known for is funky vibes and excellent food and music scenes. The closest swimming hole is Nancy Greene Lake - 20min drive. One to two hours north of Rossland you will find the stunning Arrow, Slocan and Kootenays lakes, all of which feature secluded beaches, boating, canoeing and fishing. The Valhalla and Purcell mountain ranges are known for their rugged and remote terrain - both meccas for hiking, backpacking, rock-climbing and ski touring.

We are a 7h drive from both Vancouver and Calgary. Our closest international airports are Spokane, WA (2.5h away) and Kelowna, BC (3.5h). You can fly domestically to Trail (20min), Castlegar (30min) and Cranbrook (3h).
