My cute 2-room rooftop apartment is located on the urban and yet close to nature neighborhood called Bümpliz in Bern city (15 min from center).
It's a carefully decorated place with a small and sweet cat living here too <3
There is a separate bedroom with a big and comfortable double bed. Both the bedroom and living room have access to the balcony that gets sun from midday until sundown.
The bathroom is a very unique space with a beautiful plaster surface that is used in Moroccan architecture.
The apartment is located on the top floor (4th floor without elevator) of an old house and even though it's a roof apartment there is plenty of light coming in so during the day it will get very bright. The house consists of four apartments with young, creative and caring people living here.
There is a separate bedroom with a 160cm bed (futon with a soft topper on tatami). The bedroom can be completely darkened. Also good to know is that it's a very quiet area, so the best sleep ever is guaranteed. I would appreciate if guests would also not make too much noise or party at the apartment and would respect the quiet and peaceful environment of the house and neighborhood.
There is a floor heating system for cold winters and during hot summer days the apartment manages to stay surprisingly cool.
I'm living with a still quite young cat (born July 2024) called Nini. She has been raised with the bottle so she is very friendly and loving with humans and likes to cuddle a lot. She can also go out through the cat door. I would appreciate if visitors could take care of her in a kind and loving way, giving her food twice a day, cuddle and also clean the toilet once a day. I of course would advise on everything.
My home is very dear to me and I take a lot of care when it comes to my things and also to keeping my space tidy and clean. I hope you will also feel comfortable, warm and like at home here. I would appreciate if you could treat the flat and everything in it with kindness and care. <3

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier
I live in Bümpliz an area that is part of the city of Bern but a bit on the outer edge. It's said to be Bern's most urban, diverse and not yet very gentrified area. It takes 15 minutes by tram to get into the city center or to the river and the tram station is 3 minutes away from the house with trams riding every 7 minutes and also the whole night on Friday's and Saturday's.
From my home in 7 minutes you can reach the little center of Bümpliz (called Bachmätteli) by foot with some small shops where you can buy everything you need for your stay. There also is a small bakery about 4 minutes away from the apartment selling bread, pastry, eggs, butter, milk etc. and that is open 7-days-a-week. Also there are some of the best thrift shops of the city in Bümpliz where you can find clothing, furniture, ceramics and other gems.
7 minutes by foot into the other direction you will find yourself directly at the spacious and beautiful countryside surrounded by two small woods, where you can take walks, do pick nicks or pick flowers from the flower field.
