Located on the quiet side of Big Bear Lake, our picturesque log cabin makes your mountain dreams come true! When you arrive, the largest Western Juniper tree will welcome you to Big Tree Lodge.
Walk into a cozy dining room and full kitchen with a new convenient stackable washer/dryer. A full bathroom is also on the main floor. The family room is perfect for relaxation around a warm stone fireplace, smart TV and dvd player. The cozy game table is perfect for a meal, games or puzzles. Or make a cocktail on the vintage pump organ bar!
Upstairs the split staircase divides the king size master bedroom and full en-suite from the other 2 large bedrooms-one with a queen bed and balcony…the other with 2 queen beds. These 2 bedrooms share a 1/2 bathroom. The entire interior decor has been thoughtfully and tastefully curated over many years.
Outside the cabin you will find a large wrap around deck to take in mountain and lake views. There is plenty of seating on the deck as well as the backyard with chairs, propane grill and gas fire pit area.
Captain John’s marina is just down the hill. Or take a 15 minute scenic drive along the lake to Big Bear Mountain Ski resort for skiing/ snowboarding, or shopping/ dining in the village. After snow season enjoy biking, hiking, fishing or renting a boat to take on the lake! The great outdoors await you!

Our log cabin is in a very quiet neighborhood surrounded by lovely full-time residents who appreciate respectful visitors.

Large driveway accommodates 3 cars maximum.
For winter season-all wheel drive vehicles are recommended…be prepared with tire chains, warm clothing and flexibility/ability to shovel snow and clean off your own vehicles. The streets are plowed by the city, however the driveway is not. contact local snow removal companies at your own expense if needed. Firewood is provided, please replace if possible.
