Canmore, Alberta, is a beautiful mountain town nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, renowned for its stunning natural beauty and vibrant local culture. Located just a 1 hour drive from the Calgary International Airport, it sits just outside Banff National Park.
Home was custom built new in 2021 and is our primary residence. It is approximately 2,800 sq feet. The home is a duplex (attached to one other home) with very quiet neighbours.
The home is three floors with mountain views from the second and third floors. First floor with attached garage, full laundry, 4 piece bathroom, TV room and home gym that doubles as an office. Second floor open concept main living area features vaulted wood beam ceilings over a large family room with wood burning fireplace. This floor also includes the kitchen with an 8 foot island, walk in pantry with extra fridge and freezer, powder room, and the primary bedroom with king bed and 5 piece ensuite. There is a small private patio off the primary bedroom. The family room features large double sliding doors onto the patio overlooking the creek with beautiful mountain views in all directions. Third floor includes two additional bedrooms with 3 piece ensuites (queen and double). There is a second laundry and a small loft with reading nook.
In the rear of the home, we have a large private backyard backing onto a natural creek. Wildflowers grow along the creeks edge with a small bridge attaching the yard to a tiny island. Enjoy dipping your toes into the backyard creek, paddle boarding from the back door or having an evening campfire surrounded by nature. Our yard is visited by elk, deer, ducks and even the odd black bear throughout the year.

We are located on a quiet street just a few blocks from Canmore's Main Street shopping. Walk to all the amenities including restaurants, coffee shops, gym and grocery stores then come home to your own little paradise on the creek.
In the winter there is an outdoor skating pond at the end of the street and in the summer you can ride from the front door to many world class mountain bike trails.
Enjoy the extensive recreational ski and mountain biking trails offered by the Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park that is only a short 10min drive away. Get to Banff in twenty minutes (or bike there along the paved Banff Legacy Trail). Take advantage of the option of four downhill ski resorts within an hours drive. The hiking and outdoor enthusiast opportunities around Canmore and Banff are endless!
