Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Our house is located in Gawler, a picturesque country town. We are a 10-minute drive from the Barossa Valley, a stunning wine region renowned for its full-bodied Shiraz.
It is also only 45 minutes to the centre of Adelaide by car, or 50 minutes by train. Adelaide is the city of festivals, with festivals throughout the year.
Our house is single story with polished floorboards throughout. It has a stunning outlook from all the living rooms with huge windows framing the view.
It has three bedrooms, one of which has a queen-size bed, the second bedroom is st up as an office with a very comfortable double sofa bed, and the third bedroom is set up as an office. We’d be open to putting a fold out bed in the office if wished. We also have a queen size sofa bed in the far end of the house living room.
The view from all the living rooms, office and master bedroom is towards Adelaide, offering a stunning view of native eucalyptus trees, then in the distance, the twinkling lights of Adelaide at night.
As the house faces south west, we also enjoy fantastic sunsets from the two main living areas as well.
We have a good-sized kitchen with modern appliances, an induction stovetop, stainless steel electric oven including a coffee machine, dishwasher, air fryer, and stand mixer – I love to cook!
The house offers
Reverse cycle ducted A/C that cools in summer and heats in winter - plus ceiling fans throughout
There's an internal laundry plus clothes dryer and storage
Off street parking in our double carport, or in our driveway.
There are two living rooms: one with two cosy sofas and a wood-burning stove, perfect curling up in front of during winter with a glass of wine.
The second living area has a large smart TV, a queen size sofa bed, an armchair, and a eight-seater dining table & chairs.
The bathroom has a walk in shower and also a bathtub. The toilet is separate to the bathroom.
The house sits on 944m² and is a peaceful oasis. With fruit trees and flowers the back garden is fully fenced and private and offers tranquility.
It's a perfect spot to have a coffee in the morning, or enjoy alfresco dining.
There's a 7 metre heated saltwater pool, four different entertaining spaces, one with a family size weber BBQ.
The garden also has numerous fruit trees, including plum, peach, pomegranate, cherry, orange, lemon, mandarin, apple, and quince.
There’s also a number of raised garden beds and depending on when you visit you can harvest fresh strawberries, rhubarb, asparagus, beans and more.
We have an automatic irrigation system, so no need for you to water the garden.
We are open to car swapping if wished. Our car is a Subaru Forrester.
House rules - no glass or anything breakable in the pool area. We have nice quality unbreakable wine glasses, water glasses and plates for the pool area.
No smoking indoors as we are non smokers.
