Welcome to The Tin Hut, a warm, homely garden apartment to relax and unwind after a days work, travelling or visiting family and friends.
We have endeavored to consider all your needs with the thoughtful touches throughout The Tin Hut.
Private entrance and parking, living/dining area, kitchenette, very spacious bedroom and compact shower room.
You will find a kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, microwave, bench top electric induction plate, airfryer, George Forman grill and a small fridge. Cooking utensils, tea towels, dish wash soap etc all provided.
Comfortable bed linens, towels, body soap, shampoo, conditioner and toilet rolls are included so that you can just arrive, relax and enjoy.
There is a 32" smart TV with Sky, Netflix, Disney etc
The Tin Hut has off street parking for one vehicle (plenty of street parking for additional vehicles), private entrance, welcoming guest accommodation with a fabulous under cover outdoor area. Private courtyard with outdoor dining and seating area. The Tin Hut has a separate entrance to our main home and is set back in its own space.

The Tin Hut is situated within a 7 minute walk to the centre of Blenheim but with the feel of your own private sanctuary, surrounded by green trees and bushes the courtyard is a fabulous space to unwind with a glass of wine or a coffee.
Plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from in Blenheim. Sunday Farmers market is always vibrant and full to the brim of local producers.
Marlborough is a major wine producing region in New Zealand and we are spoilt for choice of vineyards and cellar doors to visit and sample what is on offer. We also have Moa Brewery and a Gin distillery locally.
Picton our local seaside town is a 25 minute drive where there are sandy beaches, walks, icecream treats, boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and a bustling harbour full of boats.
We are so fortunate to be so close to the Marlborough Sounds, the water way so full of small coves and bays to explore either by the Pelorus mail boat from Havelock or Picton mail boats.
A little further afield is Kaikoura at 1.5 hours drive south along the coast for a spot of whale watching and exploring.
St Arnaud is a 1.5 hour drive west where a beautiful lake awaits, stunning walks and Rainbow ski field.
The Abel Tasman National park is approximately 2.5 hours north with exquisite scenery, sandy beaches, kayaking, paddle boarding or boat rides - pick up your fresh locally grown produce on the way and you are in for a fabulous stay.

There is a bus that comes up from Christchurch and stops in Blenheim before going on to Nelson or there are regular flights to Blenheim airport. The ferry from Wellington comes across to Picton daily. A car would make it easier to get around to all the places you may want to visit but if you do arrive by bus, train, plane or ferry we can arrange to collect you.
For guided winery tours we have a local company we recommend who pick you up from the driveway and take you on the tour of a few chosen vineyards and then drops you back after. There are also pick ups for self guided bike tours available. The prices vary depending on which tour you do.
