Our charming home is a recently renovated cottage with a spacious modern extension on a one acre site. It contains underfloor heating throughout with triple glaze windows and air to water heating.
On entering the house though a flat roofed link one has the main kitchen come dining area to the left with a safe and fenced off patio area with access through kitchen double doors. This is a warm and bright south facing space and very family friendly. There's plenty of outdoor toys available for young families.
Off the open plan kitchen we have a well equipped playroom ( boy aged 3 and girl aged 5) and our kids love spending time playing here. Following on there is a utility with washing machine, dryer, additional oven and microwave.
The main downstairs bathroom has a spacious shower and a free standing bath which is unique in character and style. At the end of the cottage the final room is locked for our own personal and private belongings.
Upstairs the main bedroom has a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom. One of the childrens bedrooms contains a pull out additional single bed if necessary. Our daughters bedroom has a midsleeper so can sleep two.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway home and still be only a five minute drive from the hustle and bustle of lively Clonakilty town centre. Our house is in the heart of the countryside where you can take beautiful walks, chill out, and unwind after wanderings around the area. The location is ideal with several beautiful beaches, all less than 10 minute drive ( Inchydoney, Red Strand, Long Strand and Duneen beach) and is a central spot for further day tripping around West Cork or Cork City.
