Our barn apartment is a cozy retreat for anyone wanting to stay in the area! Option: bring your horse and explore the variety of trails and public riding spaces that Central Kentucky has to offer! (A fee may apply if you bring a horse.)
It is a loft apartment so there are stairs. The loft is windowless and has well water running to it. Drinking water will be provided. There is heat and a/c. The built in bunk bed is a queen on the bottom and a single on top.
We do have barn cats (they don't live in the apartment). And we have our own personal dogs (our house is not far from the barn). We also have approximately 30 horses, one goat and one miniature donkey!

Our farm and home, Moss Landing, is on 132 rolling acres in Central Kentucky. We operate a horse boarding and lesson facility which is a short walk along the driveway from the house. We have a lovely mix of woods and pasture, perfect for taking long walks! And we have a pond behind the house which is usually active with wood ducks and frogs and an array of other birdlife.
We are located approximately 40 minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park, 40 minutes from downtown Lexington, and 1.5 hours from Cincinnati. Masterson Station Park is a lovely field trip for you and your horse ..... open field and a variety of cross country jumps await! There are many other options available, as well as a number local clinics and annual horse shows.
