Welcome to our spacious and modern upper floor conversion of a grand Victorian house (built in 1857)! There is a lot about this house to love. Decorated in calming coastal colours, with high ceilings, beautiful cornicing, and big windows letting in lots of natural light. 3 bedrooms: 2 with king sized beds and one with a super king. All with crisp Egyptian cotton sheets.
At night you can relax with a whiskey by one of our open fires - either in the light and airy 29' lounge or in the cosey snug. In the snug there is a record player and plenty of board games. The TV has a selection of streaming services including Disney+, BBC IPlayer, Prime. The kitchen is very well equipped if you'd like to do some cooking. You can help yourself to herbs from the garden. There is a local independent greengrocer, butcher and fishmonger close by.
We have a Stokke highchair, a Sebra junior bed, a Nuna travel cot and plenty of toys.
Outside we have a completely private garden where you can relax without being overlooked, and enjoy use of our Webber BBQ. We have a double garage with an electric charger for your use.

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac just 10 minutes walk from the beach and train station (direct trains to Glasgow are frequent and take about 40min). Just a few minutes walk from the town centre where you can find lots of great independent cafes, pubs and restaurants. There is a beautiful bread shop, cheese shop, and wine shop in the neighbouring town of Ayr.
There are some great attractions for kids in the local area that come highly recommended by our little boy. Dumfries House, Culzean Castle and Belliesle have especially great play parks as well as beautiful grounds. Heads of Ayr and Kelburn Castle (and its secret forest) are also ace for kids!
The Ayrshire coastline is just stunning. We are within easy reach of the ferry to the Isle of Cumbrae, the Isle of Arran or the Isle of Bute. Cumbrae is a great family day out. You can hire bikes and go round the entire island in a couple of hours. The Galloway Forest in the neighbouring county is great to explore day or night - it's a dark skies park.
