Ce que vous allez adorer dans ce logement
Our family home is in a newer sub-division in the town of Mount Pleasant, outside of Charleston, SC. As such, it's a great option for families: we have a dedicated playroom upstairs stocked with toys and separate TV for the kids, a trampoline in the backyard, and lots of toys and games for the beach and pool.
What we love as adults: our 12' ceilings and over 50 windows throughout the house allow the house to remain light filled and airy all year round with the open floor plan downstairs. We love our outdoor spaces as well: we have a large screened in porch to relax in outside and a built in fire pit to relax around in the chillier months. We also love that we have a separate office space for you to work out of if you have to get things done while on vacation.
The master bedroom is downstairs and very private; it features a king-sized mattress and a large spa-like bathroom with dual vanities and walk in shower. There is an additional guest room on the main floor that has a queen bed, closet, and a full bathroom right next door. Upstairs, there are two other bedrooms that our kids use: one that has a single trundle bed and a bunk room that has bunk beds with a twin on the top and a double-bed on the bottom.
Our kitchen and dining room are open concept with multiple places to eat whatever you've whipped up in the fully stocked kitchen or on the Traeger grill & smoker outside. If you'd prefer to eat out during your stay in one of the US's foodiest cities, we have a large microwave and ample fridge space.
The living room boasts a 55" smart TV with YouTube TV and other streaming services for you to watch any programming you'd like. If it gets chilly, the fully functioning fireplace is one of our family's favorite features.
Outside, the home features an a large two-car garage with a golf cart you and your family to use during your stay. We have bikes for all sizes in the garage that you are welcome to use as well as supplies that will make it easy for your family to enjoy your time at our beautiful beaches that are only a short drive away. Finally, our backyard patio has a Traeger Grill, built in fire pit, and trampoline for you to allow you to spend as much time outside as possible.
What your kids will love: we have a fully functioning playroom upstairs with tons of toys and games as well as a large TV with all of the streaming services for a family movie night. Downstairs, we have a large craft area underneath the stairs that has lots of options to keep your crafty kids busy. Outside we have a 12' trampoline that is endless fun.
Finally, a few disclaimers: We moved into the house recently and have been adding our flourishes since moving in, so know that some areas may look slightly different when you arrive than in the pictures (we think for the better!). We also have a family dog who will not be around during your stay, but please note if you have any dog allergies.

Our home is in a suburb of Charleston, South Carolina, which has been named the best place to travel in the world by multiple publications. Our family-friendly community is about a 30 minute drive to all that downtown Charleston has to offer including incredible history, shopping, and, of course, a plethora of award winning restaurants. We are approximately 30 minutes away from the up-and-coming Park Circle neighborhood as well as from Daniel Island, which is home to summer concerts and beautiful walking paths.
Arguably the best part of our community, however, is it's proximity to water! Our home has access to two community pools within an easy walking distance. We are also less than a 20 minute drive from two of the most beautiful beaches in South Carolina: Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island. Both beach towns offer ample free parking and uncrowded, gently sloped beaches that are blast for the whole family. During the summer, we usually head to the beach 3-4 times/week because it's so easy.
Our community is within easy walking/biking distance to restaurants (Lola Rose, Home Team BBQ, Bkdshop), bars (Rooted), Costco, soccer fields, and the local library (Wando-Mount Pleasant). Our community also has access to tennis and pickleball courts, manicured walking trails around the lake, as well as multiple playgrounds. Charleston is known for its myriad of golf courses, several which are within a 15 minute drive from our home.
