Spacious and sunny apartment in what feels like a quiet small village inside Lisbon.
This recently renovated 3-br is located in Arco do Cego, a small historic neighborhood where buildings are only 2 or 3 story high, with only a few apartments distributed in each one.
Both the master bedroom and the living room are large and sunny in the morning, and the other two rooms make for good guest bedrooms. Hardwood floors in all rooms except kitchen and bathrooms.
One of guest bedrooms is equipped for a home-office, with standing desk and adjustable monitor stand, two monitors, an ergonomic chair and a printer.
Tall windows, double-glazed, German-built. Both sound-proof and temperature stabilizing.
The living room has a small cast iron fireplace, and for winter nights there's a stash of wood kept in the small backyard.
The kitchen is connected to the living room and is well equipped for daily cooking.

A hidden gem between Saldanha, Campo Pequeno and Areeiro neighborhoods, Arco do Cego was the first planned neighborhood in Lisbon, built in the 1920s. Buildings are only 2 or 3 stories high, with a small number of apartments distributed in each of them.
The area is super safe and chill. At the same time, just 5 minutes walking distance you'll find a range of restaurants, coffee shops, traditional pastelarias with the famous Portuguese sweets, cultural centers, libraries, and plenty of public transportation. A few different supermarkets, pharmacies, boutique grocery and wine stores to choose from.
It's also flat :) Very walkable. Just out of the famous hilly part of Lisbon, off the beaten tourist track, while close enough to it once you feel like taking the tourist dive.
Culturgest is just around the corner, and Fundação Gulbenkian a 10 minute walk away.

The main bathroom has two sinks and a bathtub with a hand shower that turns into a fixed shower, European style. Great water pressure, heated by a gas boiler.
There's also a small back toilet with no shower, which comes in handy. I didn't see an option to specify that in the listing's settings, it just asks for the number of bathrooms, which I agree can be a little misleading.
