Our home is situated on the Cassowary Coast in a very welcoming small coastal town between Cairns and Townsville.
The home is 3brm 2bth, fully air conditioned, with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge/dining area. There is a well established garden with both tropical and native plants which attract the local birdlife. There is a front patio for relaxing with a drink in the evenings and an undercover BBQ area at the back.

Ce que vous allez adorer dans le quartier

Cardwell is a small coastal town with numerous community activities or the opportunity to just relax with a spot of fishing, bird watching, fresh-water swimming or hiking. It also has a great little golf course. The town is half way between Cairns and Townsville, both only a 2 hour drive away. It has a small supermarket, several good coffee shops, a local hotel and a beachside restaurant/bar. There is a beachfront walking path from our home into town which takes approx 20-30 mins and there are several walking tracks, water falls and swimming holes within a 15min drive. The beachfront is popular for fishing and there is an abundance of birdlife in the area.

Cardwell is situated on the Cassowary Coast halfway between Townsville and Cairns. There are many tourist attractions in both directions with just a few mentioned below.
